Is that Mahomes stage name?Karma hitting him hard.

Only if Goodell approved it.Could rehab away but would cost $. Unlikely that he can get his court dates moved up to fit his needs - it's not like he controls the courts. And if suspended, it's unpaid - may need the $ for the rehab costs and you know... whatever he's got bills for right now (including rent and lawyers). IR time is paid time.
He can absolutely get his court dates moved up - if his attorney negotiates a plea deal the court will move up his case.
Karma is a lie.Karma hitting him hard.
Funny how some fantasy seasons can slowly decline but have little hope and ironically this feels like a sudden car crash and instant totalingwas my flag plant of the year. just totally crushed to lose him for the season.
Same here. I spent extra for WR depth in the event he had a mid-season suspension, so I have somewhat of a cushion...but man, this still stings.was my flag plant of the year. just totally crushed to lose him for the season.
Probably as well as Toney did.Wonder if Darius Slayton would fit in KC.
UFA after this season. Doubt it would cost much, late round pick.
Theres no one coming that is going to replicate the start Rice had. Every player they've brought in over the last 2-3 years has not been good and most of their draft picks have sucked. Rice was the first one showing promise and Mahomes ruined that.Probably as well as Toney did.Wonder if Darius Slayton would fit in KC.

Worthy can be pretty good. It's now looking like a hell of a trade with Buffalo to be able to draft him, who are idiots for doing that trade IIMO.Theres no one coming that is going to replicate the start Rice had. Last sentence has to be the understatement of the year.In his opening statement, Andy Reid said the Chiefs are still going through several tests of Rashee Rice's right knee.
"I don't have a definite (diagonals) right now," Reid said of Rice. "He's not going to be available next week."
Lets hope for a Jordan Love type timetable return!Last sentence has to be the understatement of the year.In his opening statement, Andy Reid said the Chiefs are still going through several tests of Rashee Rice's right knee.

I love a good car crash analogy in the Rashee Rice thread. Keep em comin!Funny how some fantasy seasons can slowly decline but have little hope and ironically this feels like a sudden car crash and instant totalingwas my flag plant of the year. just totally crushed to lose him for the season.
Have you read something I haven’t regarding a diagnosis?Lets hope for a Jordan Love type timetable return!Last sentence has to be the understatement of the year.In his opening statement, Andy Reid said the Chiefs are still going through several tests of Rashee Rice's right knee.

I'm with you in the hope department, but I don't recall the level of Love's injury being speculated like Rice's is, but I could be wrong. No

Love was in the same boat. Was speculated to have serious knee injury and got lucky
Phrasing...Funny how some fantasy seasons can slowly decline but have little hope and ironically this feels like a sudden car crash and instant totalingwas my flag plant of the year. just totally crushed to lose him for the season.
i agree. and we saw it yesterday. more prep time will make it even more clear. kelce is back to being the man in terms of target share (31% yesterday). they likely revert to what they were doing last year but with worthy far more worthy of a wr than mvsI love a good car crash analogy in the Rashee Rice thread. In any event, I think Worthy has to be the guy in Kansas City. Justin Watson will probably see an uptick but he isn't going to win Kansas City games like Worthy can. I could see the Chiefs running a lot of 12 personnel offense with Noah Gray and Kelce, as the underneath guys and Worthy in motion for some deeper stuff.
I am confused why everyone is so down on Worthy to take the reigns and Andy Reid to scheme him into the offense more. This seems like the most plausible move and I am here for it.
You have an extra bench spot.Hopefully we get a clear diagnosis before waivers run tomorrow night so I know if I’ll have an extra bench slot.
You could be on to something. No

pretty good concise video on a breakdown from an MD and insight into the possible outcomes.I'm not a knee doctor but does the fact that their doing additional testing mean the MRI was inconclusive? Maybe a glimmer of hope the ACL is intact? Reid's comment ("doesn't look good") on the sideline during the game is meaningless. I saw that Chao tweet in real time he thought is was a bone bruise and ligament strain but didn't see the mechanism for an ACL tear. He was maybe the one guy who said he didn't think
Love
's knee injury was season ending. Seeing Shefter tweet last night that the Chief's "fear an ACL tear" is usually a death knell but don't they confirm this stuff pretty quickly?

I’m told #Chiefs WR Rashee Rice (knee) is seeking at least a second opinion on his injury to gather additional information, per source. Potential windows for surgery have also been discussed at this time.

At least Rashee Rice went out doing what he loved. Ending a drive with a horrible collision and immediately leaving the scene

I'll take it over absolutely torn ligamentsNot sure what this means.
IT MEANS THEY WON’T KNOW ANYTHING UNTIL NEXT WEEK BECAUSE THEY’RE DOING MORE TESTING!Not sure what this means.
It means screw your fantasy waivers. You got to carry Rice another week. Not sure what this means.
Mahomes might have had something to do with him showing promise in the first place.Theres no one coming that is going to replicate the start Rice had. YOU BE QUIET!feels ominous to me. finding out the "full extent" leads me to that. it's like they know the knee is messed up good but just not how bad exactly. could be a situation where they have to let the swelling go down to figure out exactly everything that's wrong

Valid point. The next few days will be telling. Even with no new news. I think we can all at least agree that if he’s not placed on IR by this Saturday, that this is not the case.feels ominous to me. finding out the "full extent" leads me to that. it's like they know the knee is messed up good but just not how bad exactly. could be a situation where they have to let the swelling go down to figure out exactly everything that's wrong
If he needs surgery I hope they don't do with him like MLB sometimes do with pitchers with elbow problems, by waiting and waiting, hoping rest will do the trick, then end up doing the Tommy John surgery anyway, causing him to be out even more time the next season. Sometimes it is better to get it done early as possible if it is inevitable. Problem is, they might not know yet, possibly until the swelling subsides.Valid point. The next few days will be telling.
