Robert Woods earned five catches for 101 yards and a touchdown on five targets Thursday in the Rams’ Week 4 victory over the Vikings.
Despite seeing a season-low in targets, Woods impressed with another huge fantasy week. He was especially effective in the second half, nabbing four of his five catches after the break. Woods stretched the Rams’ lead to 10 by torching Anthony Barr (a frequent victim on Thursday night) for a 31-yard touchdown strike in the closing minutes of the third quarter. His longest gain came in the first half on a play where Woods dusted Trae Waynes for a 36-yard pick-up. Woods has gone over 100 yards receiving in each of his last two games while registering three touchdowns during that span. He’ll look to stay hot against the Seahawks in Week 5.

I was offered Woods for dj moore. I decided to stay with Moore but thought it was a fair offerHas anybody seen him dealt in dynasty lately? He's quietly WR14 (avg) in 1ppr and on pace for 133 targets, 94 rec, 1376 yards, and 7 TDs.
That’s a tough one.I was offered Woods for dj moore. I decided to stay with Moore but thought it was a fair offer
4) GOFF TO WOODS CONNECTION REMAINS STRONG
Over the last two seasons, quarterback Jared Goff has targeted wide receiver Robert Woods 215 times — significantly more than any other receiver. It’s warranted, as Woods has undoubtedly emerged as one of the better wideouts in the game.
That chemistry shined bright throughout the week, with Goff and Woods connecting on a number of completions, particularly in 7-on-7 drills.
Just on Thursday, for example, Goff connected with Woods on a deep pass down the left sideline, and then on a deep out to the right sideline during the same period.
Talking to Woods following Thursday’s practice, he said one of the biggest things he’s trying to work on during Phase III is picking up yards after the catch. Obviously there’s no tackling and no pads on at this point, so Woods equated it to somewhat like flag football. But, he said, if corners aren’t touching you, then they wouldn’t be able to tackle you. So that’s where he’s looking to make tangible improvements.
The Rams have aded $1 million to Robert Woods' 2019 base salary of $4.5 million, as well as a new "fully guaranteed" $2 million roster bonus for 2020.
ESPN's Adam Schefter terms it as a "true raise" for the 27-year-old with no other strings attached. Woods has dramatically over-performed the five-year, $34 million deal he signed in March 2017, so it would seem the Rams were trying to get out in front of any future contract unpleasantness. Woods is due $5.5 million next season and $7.5 million in 2021, with roster bonuses each year.

hit the brakes on this notion.mfl ppr adp has 3 rams receivers in the top 22.
cooks 14
woods 16
kupp 22
2 of these guys are being overdrafted. which ones?
Robert Woods caught 3-of-8 targets for 40 yards in Week 3 against the Browns.
It's another down game for Woods, who was held to two catches last week. He's yet to score a touchdown and has faded behind Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks the last two games. Woods is still capable of big games, but his ceiling has never been very high. He'll remain a WR3 in Week 4 for a home game against the Bucs.

8 Targets is still a good sign. It shows all 3 are heavily involved in the LAR offenseRobert Woods caught 3-of-8 targets for 40 yards in Week 3 against the Browns.
I feel like Woods and Cooks are boom or bust while Kupp is going to be a pretty consistent floor. So like....is today sustainable at all? I feel like there are just too many mouths to feed in the LAR offense. Kupp is a target hog and Goff is still too inconsistent.
But Kupp was the bust until garbage time this week. Woods/Cooks had pretty solid numbers while Kupp was sitting on like 1 catch for 7 yards.I feel like Woods and Cooks are boom or bust while Kupp is going to be a pretty consistent floor.
Robert Woods caught 5-of-9 targets for 48 yards in the Rams' Week 5 loss to the Seahawks.
Woods was millimeters away from a bigger night but was ruled out of bounds on what could have been a 21-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. A 2018 metronome, Woods has only now posted five catches in back-to-back games for the first time this season. He'll check in as a low-end WR2 for Week 6 against the 49ers, with Brandin Cooks' (concussion) health a wild card.
Robert Woods caught 5-of-7 targets for 80 yards in the Rams' Week 7 win over the Falcons.
The 80 yards were actually Woods' second most of the season, which tells you all you need to know about the difference between Woods' 2018 and '19. With Jared Goff struggling with his downfield accuracy, Woods did some cleaning up underneath. Although he's nowhere close to the consistent WR2 he was last year, Woods has another excellent setup for Week 8 when the Rams host the Bengals' extremely-injured secondary.

I'm not buying anything besides Kupp in this offense.ConnSKINS26 said:I know this offense hasn't been as good as last year, but with Cooks seemingly down for the count with concussions for the foreseeable future, Woods has to be a stretch run buy, right?
Woods has a running TD and at least one receiving TD negated to penalty. It might be 2 IIRC.I bought Woods yesterday in a package deal to be my WR4 ROS ..... he is injury insurance/ my Kupp hand-cuff
(most targeted WR in the league without a TD I believe)
Robert Woods caught 7-of-11 targets for 95 yards in the Rams' Week 10 loss to the Steelers.
Woods led the team in receiving, but nobody on offense was particularly close to scoring a touchdown against the Steelers, who put Jared Goff in bad spots by applying pressure. Woods and Gerald Everett were the go-to receivers this time around with Cooper Kupp and Todd Gurley both failing to haul in their four targets each. Woods' production and usage have been up and down all season, but Brandin Cooks (concussion) being sidelined should help Woods string together positive games as a fantasy WR2/3. The Rams will host the Bears in Week 11.
Whatever his reason, I hope him & his family are ok. It was listed as “personal “.What the ####?
All I've got to substitute in now are Malcolm Brown or Braunecker. Damn.
Would have had to do Cobb if this came out earlier...
Whatever his reason, I hope him & his family are ok. It was listed as “personal “.
I ended up throwing Taylor Gabriel in his place... only option available from my bench. And to think I left NOS TE Cook our for him!
If so, I’m glad he was there for him.I saw a couple people on twitter post that he may have been trying to get in contact with his pal Sua Cravens. I guess Cravens was posting a bunch of worrisome self harm kinda stuff on social media and locking his accounts last night. That’s just speculation though.
Rams coach Sean McVay said Robert Woods (personal) is still away from the team's facility dealing with a family matter.
It's impossible to know Woods' long-term status since the organization has been mum on his availability. The team's recent transaction in promoting WR Nsimba Webster to their active roster could be telling. Brandin Cooks (concussion) should be back on Monday, but no ancillary pieces in Los Angeles' offense should be trusted against Baltimore.
