WR Sammy Watkins, BAL (2 Viewers)

So much talent and it's nice to have rooting interest in this ugly game.

Leaning towards TJ Yeldon though.
If we definitively knew Ivory was out this would be a no-brainer, as it is it seems very likely Ivory is going to miss the game so I still probably roll the dice on Yeldon over Watkins.

If you have someone to put in who is respectable. does not hurt to get that player in and see how Sammy does tonight. , Its a  long season , only week 2. myself putting in Tajae Sharpe in over him at the flex, Personally it would hurt but I would love to see Sammy go all out for 8-114 and 2 TD's. Would love to know I got his talent at almost 100% the rest of the season.

Benching him but I went WR heavy to start my draft and have Baldwin as an option so it's an easy decision.

I'm ready to punt on Sammy for 4th or 5th round value at this point. Will see how this game goes and hope he can have a half decent game. At this point I wouldn't hate trading him for guys like Cobb, Moncrief, maybe even Snead. I'm weak at RB too so even guys like Matthews or Langford may help me out. I also like the idea of Josh Gordon, especially since I don't really need to start Watkins right now.

I'm gonna sit him unless I hear he looks great. More a bet against the Bills offense. Terrible on Sunday, doubt they can turn it around that quickly. Playing against the Jets D so hope I'm wrong.

Baldwin?!

Get out of our "thread of misery", you don't belong here!

I'm feeling this. Tayler looked like crap week 1, short week, sitting Sam for anyone with a heartbeat.

Got to start him. He was a flex/backup until Keenan went down. It's either him or the bench/waiver wire fodder I grabbed this week (outbid on Twill): Beasly, Eli Rogers, Wheaton, and Tavon Austin. S'ugly out here.

Hey Tyrod. Just drop back every down and throw it up to Sammy 40 yards down field.

TIA, buddy.
In all seriousness, Sammy is good enough that they should absolutely be forcing the ball to him. Obviously you can't run fly routes all night, but some deep curls, outs, posts, etc. He's going to get ope MOST of the time...

I'd plug in E Rogers and not think twice. Massive over/under in that game, Rogers will get fed.

FWIW - Deion Sanders just gave us the "y'all are crazy if you thought Sammy Watkins would miss this game!" speech on the pregame show.

One thing I do like is John Paulsen said Sammy looked like the Sammy we know last Sunday, he didn't see any signs that Watkins was limited by the foot.

That's great if it's true.

Then again it also means that every other aspect of the Buffalo offense is an even bigger concern.  Low pass attempts, run heavy approach and the QB looked lost.  It's only one week but they did nothing in Baltimore last week that should give anyone confidence in this team.

It's only one week and Sammy doesn't need a ton of targets to put up big numbers, plus Revis also looked like a shell of himself vs. AJ Green and Wilkerson is out (then again so is Cordy Glenn) so there is a bit to be hopeful for as well.

I benched him for Ty Williams this week.

Sammy was an autopick due to a poorly timed internet dropped connection :(

Anyhow since I am benching him you can start with confidence ;)

Im resisting my urge to start him. I have solid options. At least I can root for him tonight to look good and earn his way back into futures lineups.

He's wearing an orthotic insert, no pain while running, pain comes when sitting on the sidelines, showed him in one burst off the line, didn't see any limping, Rex says "no limits on playing him"... just reported from the sidelines.

Did Deon Sanders just say that he's pissed at the Buffalo OC for letting Watkins play tonight? Does Prime know something we don't?

Would start Diggs over him but now also worried about TY, might need him in that spot. Starting him with zero confidence.
