WR Tee Higgins, CIN (3 Viewers)

The move at wr for the Bengals will be jettisoning Tyler Boyd. Cut, trade...he is due 12 million this year and the last year of his deal.
Higgins hasn't even reached his prime, it's exactly the kind of player you should be willing to pay a little extra for

I think he's only about a 2 million dead money so it would be a nice savings for them.

I'm again super high on him in all formats.

I think Burrow should have a monstrous year if both receivers stay healthy all year.
I think Higgins should finally have big season.
I’m with you. Tee is my WR5 in dynasty formats. In fact, I’m so high on him that in both of the leagues where I had Chase I traded him away for packages and made it a priority to land Higgins afterwards. I think their production will be similar in the coming years.

Why do you think Chase/Higgins will have similar production going forward? Chase has been clearly ahead of Higgins through 2 seasons together, with far more targets, and far more valuable targets, while also being more efficient.

Also of concern, when Higgins was out, Chase was the #1 player on fantasy. When Chase was out, Higgins saw a modest improvement.

I probably have Higgins around WR12 in dynasty, and that's mostly longevity based, he looks like a #2 WR to me, who would be in the McLaurin/DJ Moore range, if he wasn't tied to Burrow. I think his value drops if he leaves the Bengals, even if he's a clear #1.

Last year felt disappointing yet churned out 1000 and 7. With his size I wish they would scheme more red zone looks. The perfect wr2 for rosters.

I like Tee a lot but I think he's properly cast as an NFL WR2 and a fantasy WR2. He's got a specific skill set and he's very good at it but I don't think he's very versatile.

Tee Higgins was held without a catch on eight targets in the Bengals’ Week 1 loss to the Browns.

This will go down as a prayer yards game for Higgins as Joe Burrow heaved more than one deep shot to the lengthy receiver. All of the passes were either well-defended or just out of Higgins’ reach, resulting in a goose egg. Burrow struggled throughout this game and threw for just 82 yards. A Week 2 rebound from the league’s highest-paid quarterback should get Higgins back on track as well. Higgins should still be viewed as a high-end WR2 heading into his Week 2 matchup with Baltimore.

He’s pouting. His agent better snap his *** out of it. Put up monster numbers this year, help win a Superbowl, then give the Front Office the finger on the way out. But don’t pout.
Where did you get “he’s pouting” out of the article that you linked?
I didn’t. Just my opinion. It’s either pouting or a physical ailment, because I’ve never seen him that disengaged and lethargic, and I watched every single game he played at Clemson. The body language is terrible, he’s dropping balls left and right…. As Dr.Lee said at the OJ trial, “The only opinion I can giving - somesing wrong.”

Of the 8 “targets” 3 were drops. 5 were uncatchable.

The drops were bad.

At no point did I see him “pouting” or disengaged.

He was getting mugged all night. They called 1 penalty. He was frustrated with the refs, clearly.

Let’s not pretend he didn’t have a 2 TD game the week before. Higgins will be fine. His QB is gimpy as hell and can’t extend plays. Last week Burrow peppered Higgins and it was clear that the Rams defense made a concentrated effort to take Higgins out of the game - which is why the TEs & Chase had big games.

He’ll be fine.

Tee Higgins (ribs) did not rule out playing in Week 5 against the Cardinals when asked about his injury.

Speaking on Monday, Higgins said he doesn’t anticipate his injury to sideline him for an extended period of time, and wouldn’t rule out playing in Week 5. It will be interesting to see how the Bengals’ 1-3 start could factor into Higgins decision to play, as the Bengals have gotten off to a wildly unexpected start and are struggling mightily on offense, ranking dead last in points per game (12.3). Higgins’ status will be one to monitor when the Bengals hit the practice field on Wednesday.

Tee Higgins (ribs) returned to practice on Friday and is questionable for Week 5 against the Cardinals.

Higgins returned to practice in a limited capacity and is officially questionable for Week 5’s matchup against the Cardinals. The Bengals receiver suffered a fractured rib in Week 4’s loss to the Titans, and could be a true game-time decision for Sunday’s matchup. On one hand, giving Higgins additional time to recover is probably best. On the other hand, the Bengals are 1-3 and can ill-afford to sideline any players who could help save a season that’s quickly getting out of hand. If he suits up in Week 5, Higgins could be treated as a fringe WR2/WR3 due to his injury.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (ribs) was limited in practice on Wednesday.
Higgins missed the first two practices last week but returned to the field for the Friday walkthrough, where he was listed as a limited participant. Head coach Zac Taylor said the decision to make Higgins inactive in Week 5 was his call. On Wednesday, Taylor said Higgins is day-to-day, and the coaches, trainers, and doctors will see how much he is able to do this week and how he responds. With a bye next week, the Bengals certainly won’t risk it with Higgins, but it sounds like there’s a chance he can play if he progresses well this week.

Tee Higgins (ribs) said it’s looking “promising” when asked about the possibility of him playing in Week 6 against the Seahawks.

Higgins has been limited in each of the Bengals’ first two practices and appears to have a legitimate shot at suiting up in Week 6 against the Seahawks. With a Week 7 bye on tap, we’ll see whether or not the Bengals want to risk Higgins’ health, but this is a team that can ill-afford lose games after a 2-3 start to the season. If he’s active, Higgins should have some WR2 upside playing opposite Ja’Marr Chase in a game that could be among the highest-scoring on the slate.

Tee Higgins (ribs) is questionable for Week 6 against the Seahawks.

Higgins missed Week 5 because of the issue. He was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday before closing the week with a full session, giving him a good chance at returning after just one missed game. The Bengals’ offense appeared to right the ship in their Week 5 win over the Cardinals, so Higgins will be rejoining a far better offense than the one he left. If he does suit up, Higgins will rank as a WR2.
