WR Tyler Lockett, Free Agent (1 Viewer)

On the season Lockett is still only playing the 4th most offensive snaps, behind Baldwin, Kearse, Graham.

Doug Baldwin    WR    672    86.15%    85 targets .127 targets/snap
Jermaine Kearse    WR    636    81.54%    65 targets .102 targets/snap
Jimmy Graham    TE    607    77.82%    79 targets .130 targets/snap
Tyler Lockett    WR    451    57.82%    49 targets .109 targets/snap

In a losing effort against the Bucs Lockett actually had two more offensive snaps than Kearse did

J Graham TE 63 100%
D Baldwin WR 58 92%
T Lockett WR 52 83%
J Kearse WR 50 79%

For the most part Kearse outsnaps Lockett still however.

I agree that the Packers are missing a lot of defensive backs and Seattle will likely have more success throwing against them than they will running the ball. Which could be a reason to play Lockett more than Kearse.

Lockett was the starter tonight opposite Baldwin over Kearse.

As of the half, 5 catches for 65 yards.

Snap count:

Seahawks halftime WR snap count:

Doug Baldwin 24,

Tyler Lockett 23,

Jermaine Kearse 18,

Tanner McEvoy 6,

Paul Richardson 3.

Kearse sucks. If they throw to Baldwin, Jimmy, and Lockett all the time,  passing game would be really good.

6 for 122 and a TD will play
I had high hopes going into the 2016 season, but he dropped passes in game 1 versus Miami, got injured and never recovered, until this game. He seems more quick than fast in uniform and is not that physical. He may never reach 1,000 yards in Seattle with Wilson.

Lockett is great at the catch point. Def physical enough. He's Antonio Brown on a lower volume passing offense. He will be an elite WR1 in FF someday.

anybody seeing him as a WR2 or merely a flex?  I'm stuck with the options of Kenny Britt or an injured Moncrief.
I do.  Thinking that Baldwin gets covered by Peterson and that allows Lockett to have a Cooks like day.  Actually considering him over Cooks this week who has not done will with the Bucs.

My championship matchup will likely require 4 WRs. Tate is in and I have both SD guys. I'm stunned at how Williams keeps getting ranked high. Like Jordan Reed, the dude is injured and if you get to watch he looks troubled. So I think I'm rolling out Lockett over him and using Inman and then I have to pick ONE between Wallace, Amderson and JJ Nelson. I stockpiled the "all ranked between 10-25 WR tier" LOL

I don't mean to make this post look like. WDIS (although lads at this stage of the game advice is welcome) but just to show you that I'm using Lockett and rank him higher than everyone I listed sans Tate.

Thinking of throwing him in at my flex spot over a gimpy Lamar Miller.  It's a "Hail Mary," but judging from my opponent's lineup, I'm going to need to go with a higher ceiling guy to have a shot.

Arizona seems to have packed it in but Seattle has scored 12 points combined in the last two games against the Cardinals. Just something to consider if you decide to start Lockett this weekend.

I'm still starting him though......

Ughh, this guy is the new Lee Evans. He'll put up a few big games and then stinkertown....hard to trust him in your lineup

I have him penciled in right now over Mitchell and Cooper. This league gets return yardage/TDs. I don't trust Cooper at all but I am struggling with Mitchell.

right now I have lockett penciled in at flex over mitchell and gabriel. someone talk me out of it

same boat as you...

I've got decisions to make at WR. Already started Beckham. Need two more of Gabriel, Tyreek, Lockett, Inman, and Mitchell in a nonPPR. Already starting both ATL RBS and the kicker Bryant.

Non PPR you have to look at the guys who score TDs. Lockett Mitchell and Gabriel seem stronger. SAN Diego might not be the sure thing everyone think tomorrow.

I've gotta play 4 WRs and Lockett and Tate I think are must starts for me based on the SD situation. I have a bad feeling about that game. Plus Benjamin is back. I have both Williams and Inman. I can't believe Williams is ranked so high last several weeks when he's hurt almost like Reed. He looked terrible last week. So I also have JJ Nelson, Wallace and Anderson and may sit both sd guys for two of them. Oh and I just added Meredith.

who would you pick of those 3

If you find out Lockett is not being shadowed by Peterson, then Lockett.  But all of those guys are crapshoots with blow up potential.  Don't feel bad no matter who you start.

Mitchell has the best QB. Bowles did not make the trip, not sure the mindset of the Jets but I bet it's starting to look a lot more like golf than football.

Gabriel has 7TDs in 7 weeks, hard to argue production. I'm leery of the way he left last week.

Lockett seems to be on a roll but you never know with Seattle. Wilson will spray it around. Maybe tomorrow it's the Jimmy G Doug B show?

Sitting Williams as well.  He's not right and the weather could be very poor tomorrow in Cleveland. Starting Hogan over him.

Lockett best games are at home. He only needs 1 catch to make a big day. I think he got the most targets last week. He is in for me but only coz i have to swing for the fences again

I've been going back and forth on this one this the last couple days. Lockett or Baldwin......... I'm a big favorite so I'm leaning Baldwin.......

If you are a big fav and have both the. Yeah go Baldwin. More accomplished guy.

He will likely draw PP in coverage

Also Safety-Matthieu has been put on IR. Lockett should have fun on fly patterns.

Baldwin has a safer floor imo.....he's a lock for 8-9 points in PPR and he's always a threat to score multiply TD's. It's really close though because Arizona is going to roll over on in this game imo......So Lockett could run a punt or KO back too.......

Gabriel has become very trustworthy. I do think Lockett could be a nice homerun today though. Tough call, I think Gabriel is safe And Lockett is your grand slam play

lol I have the opposite view. I see lockett as safe to get 6 targets and return stats while Gabriel could lose a lot to Julio as they try to get him back in the swing of the offense

mitchell and gabriel are very td dependant. Lockett too I guess but he gets return yards and has been getting 6 targets a game

I don't know man, I do know that Gabriel has scored in double digits for me every week since week 8, when he started getting  regular playing time.

I see Lockett as The higher risk, yet higher reward play.

Gabriel also has a shoulder injury

but yes he has been solid since week 8. hence the dilemma

I went with gabriel. top 10 wr since week 8. can't bench now
I had  to make a similar  decision  and  I switched to Lockett last minute. Ha!!!  Go figure, neither showed up today  and I take a heartbreaking loss in the champ game.

Hopefully like my league, yours is a dynasty and we can look forward to a loaded rookie draft class in 2017. Best of luck pal.

I'm hearing some type of broken leg for Lockett? If this is true and somehow his outlook for '17 is cloudy (at least at the beginning), are any of you dynasty guys stashing Paul Richardson?

yeah if he broke his leg he should be fine start of camp but it'll be tough because he will undoubtedly lost some of his speed. I was considering keeping but now since this leg issue I may not because he could come super cheap

I was mad when I saw lockett had scored, must have been reversed. but yeah none of my guys showed up but Diggs and I never considered starting him. lucky for me the rest of my team did well and I should win with my current score but still have 3 guys left to go lol.

not in a dynasty league... wish I was. 3 person keeper. I maystill keep him but idk

Hmm you don't think he'll regain all of his speed after he heals from his broken leg?

Watched the replay and omg that's a nasty injury. I really feel for the kid. He's so good. That play he hurt himself on kinda showed what he's capable of when healthy. He roasted that CB. Hopefully he can get and stay healthy next year.......

not sure if this is a snarky question or not, but no I do believe he will have lost a step. for instance look at Jordy nelson. any packer fan can tell you he doesn't look the same.

when you have such a catastrophic injury (watch the replay),  the rehab and recovery will be very limited. you're talking potentially 10 months of total recovery. he will likely be rushed back after 8-9.

try this, put your knee in an immobilizer for 8 weeks, non weight bearing. then use crutches for a month or two. then gradually start running and strengthening it. then you tell me if after 8 months you feel like your same self. it happens all the time with athletic injuries but the degree of locketts injury makes me wonder what he exactly damaged and how long he's going to have to stay off his leg. this isn't a standard acl injury or broken bone

No I was just asking not being snarky. I hate to hear that. Lockett was one of my favorite players......ugh. I watch the play and the injury is brutal I just thought a broken leg would be something he could come back 100% from. I'm pretty ignorant on these thing though......
