WR Wan'Dale Robinson, NYG (1 Viewer)

The first catch on the first drive for 22 gave false hope that he may be in for a big day. I think he only had 1 target the rest of the way. Back to the WW.

Woke up this morning knocked out of a first round bye in one league and knocked out of the playoffs altogether in another because of this bum. Just wanted to whine about it somewhere. That is all.

“The healthier he became, the more dynamic and comfortable appeared. Now in his third season, Robinson stands to benefit from rookie Malik Nabers on the outside and the depth of Darius Slayton and Jalin Hyatt. Completely recovered from that knee injury, Robinson will man the slot role and should dominate any one-on-one matchups thanks to his excellent route running and on-a-dime cuts.”

Wan'Dale is someone I've tried to buy this offseason in PPR. Having a real alpha should open things up in the middle and he should be hopefully fully recovered. Big questions at TE are also a plus for a spot specialist.

I forget which FF analyst said this but he’s definitely a PPR scam. Lots of empty receptions last year but I also think he’s being undervalued this year.

Biggest observation with the offense:

Ton of short passes, especially to Wan'Dale Robinson. swings, flats, quick slants. Daniel said in his presser (look at my earlier tweet) that getting the ball out fast will be a focus. To me, that's zero confidence in O-line until proven

15th in the league in total targets. 21st in receptions. Nabers getting all the defensive attention. Not a bad back of roster guy that can be used in a pinch.

For me, that pinch is coming tonight vs. Dallas.

I'm cautiously optimistic but also not expecting him to explode all over the Cowboys.

Glad I added him this week. Just dropped Keon Coleman for him but could add Coleman back if he clears waivers. I’m in a yahoo league which allows you to drop players on your bench after they play

I'm super jazzed about Wan'Dale's production tonight.

14 targets
11 catches
71 yards

They ran plays for Robinson as well. Several times he was Jones' first read.

is there enough to feed two receivers in NY?

I think so. Nabers takes all the heat and the NY running game isn’t the best. Robinson seems to be getting lots of short work to help with that running game. He is quick in and out of his breaks and breaks plenty of tackles for his size.

Is he a must start with Nabers out? Or is he now a sit due to the increase in coverage he will see?
Funny huh? He was doing well with Nabers and now that he is out it should mean he will do better right? We aren't that gullible. Hard to say for me. I have one share and planned on starting him so that's easy. If I wasn't starting him would this news change that? I think it would. Seattle is gonna score and nothing is better then garbage points against prevent defense.

Nabers out again.

I am questioning why FBG has Slayton as a high end WR2, but Robinson a WR3.

In PPR, Robinson is a must play again, right?

Of course.

But slayton gets way more valuable targets. ADOT and perimeter downfield targets. Wandale is a PPR scam

Robinson has a lot more value with Malik OUT this weekend, he likely has an uptick in targets over his normal usage

He avg about 9-10 targets a game, the problem is he needs 8-10 catches to produce 40-60 yds of offense, not very efficient and he's short, 5-8 for a WR is small
I'm starting to wonder if you can't do better on the WW

DeVito connected with Wan'Dale Robinson on this 32-yard corner to seal victory against Green Bay last year.

This route by Robinson is filthy: angle inward, head fake, get the DB to open inside, and explode open to the sideline.
