WR Wan'Dale Robinson, NYG (2 Viewers)

I thought in-game they said groin injury? He never came back after that.
Looked like a groin to me. He was in on the next series but I didn't track him after that. For sure though that was the play that stopped his day. Was a target monster prior to that.

He actually played nearly all the second half, he out snapped Slayton. But he received no targets in the second half.
If he gutted it out despite being hurt, he earns some cred.
8 targets in one half, if he got that for a full game...

I think he looked fine out there in the second half just a shot to the nuts and a coincidence he didn’t get many looks after it. It seemed like Jones only threw the ball a few times in the second half.

Let's do the math . . . . 8 targets x 2 halves . . . . hmmmm . . . carry the one . . . . that'd be 16 targets for a WHOLE game

Daniel Jones is hot garbage. How is this team 6-1? Captain Checkdown.
They have a HC and a DC who know what they are doing. Most teams don’t.
I guess. And admittedly I don't watch the Giants much, but Jones was just absolutely brutal today. He seems to have two options: stare down primary read until either getting sacked or forcing one in, or glance at primary read and then check it down.

I'll probably drop Wan'Dale just so I don't ever have to watch Jones again.

I’m still holding. The fact still remains Wandale is athletic and could be useful in PPR with lots of short passes on a team that doesn’t have many other options in the passing game.

I think we are underselling how tough it is to play in Seattle. Also, Every time I saw Wandale there was bracket coversge and slayton was 1 on 1

as long as he is healthy he will get right off the bye

Whelp, time to scout the wire and see if there is a better WR4 out there.
Yup, my fault, I believed all the hype on this guy and well, what a disappointment. At the very least I thought he’d be out there more.

Giants were in a terrible scheduling spot yesterday. In Seattle, which is one of the toughest places to play for a road team.

I would not drop Robinson just yet. Giants were due for a clunker and you could see it coming from a mile away with
the schedule.

This is how I feel - as you say, not many options there and even if one is not impressed with Jones, it appears to be a well coached team with a good offensive mind at head coach.

In the one league where I own him, Rondale Moore was dropped this week. I see FBGs has him ranked well above Robinson ROS. Would anyone agree with that? I would think with Brown coming back at some point, he will be WR3 to Robinson's WR1/2. Not sure that Arizona's passing volume makes up the difference. At least not enough that I want to make the change.

It depends on your roster of course but Rondale feels like he could be most consistent and a sold WR3. The argument for Wandale is there isn’t much competition for targets and the ceiling should be higher.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said he's "optimistic" Wan'Dale Robinson (hamstring) will play in Week 11.

Robinson did not practice Friday ahead of the Giants' Week 11 matchup against Detroit. He spent "most of the day in treatment, and Robinson said he'll see in the morning if coaches/training staff gives him go-ahead to practice," according to Stapleton. Robinson, with five targets in his past two games, is barely a WR4 option if he suits up against the Lions. Darius Slayton would be a better fantasy play.

Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) has been ruled out of the Giants' Week 11 game against the Lions.

Robinson had been on the injury report earlier this week with a sore hamstring. It didn't slow him any as he had caught 9-of-13 targets for 100 yards, clearly the Giants' best weapon of the day. He was knocked out of bounds on his final catch in the fourth quarter and did not return. Robinson was quickly ruled out and it'll be a tough blow for the Giants if he misses extended time.

Shame he got hurt, didn't look good. He was having a nice PPR game and had demonstrated some good reliability.

Giants placed WR Wan’Dale Robinson (knee) on the PUP list.

Robinson continues to rebound from a torn ACL suffered in November. With his injury being so late in the season, it’s not surprising to see him open training camp on the PUP list, but Robinson should be back on the field at some point in the year. Teammate Sterling Shepard, who also suffered a torn ACL last season, was placed on the PUP list but could return sooner than Robinson. It’s worth noting any player can come off the PUP list at any time during camp.

The Athletic’s Dan Duggan says Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson (knee) is expected to be activated off the PUP list by Tuesday’s roster deadline.
Robinson has been working his way back from a torn ACL suffered in Week 11 last season. The second-year receiver is nearing a return but will face a crowded receiver room — especially at the slot. Last season, Robinson played 80.7 percent of his snaps in the slot but will be competing with rookie Jalin Hyatt and Sterling Shepard for snaps once he’s back. It’s safe to assume Robinson will be limited early on, but he’s trending in the right direction.

He just got activated. Any value in redraft this season? WRs less than a year removed from ACL injury sound iffy; I'm struggling to think of an example of one who had an adrian petersonesque recovery the next season.

Edit: The Giants just released Crowder so they must think Wan'Dale's recovering well.

Giants listed WR Wan’Dale Robinson (knee) as questionable for Thursday night’s game against the 49ers.
Robinson was listed as doubtful last week, so this is a step in the right direction for the second-year player who is coming back from a torn ACL. Since Robinson was not placed on the PUP list, the Giants obviously felt confident that he could make it back before Week 5. ESPN’s Jordan Raanan believes the Giants held Robinson out in Week 2 because they knew they had short rest before Week 3. With 11 days off after Thursday night’s game, it’s far more likely that Robinson will make his debut against San Francisco.

NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reports Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson (knee) will return to action Thursday Night.

Robinson has been out since last season with a torn ACL. The Giants slot receiver will finally make his second-year debut on Thursday Night Football against the 49ers. Robinson caught 23 passes for 227 yards as a rookie prior to his injury and while he won’t carry fantasy relevancy immediately, he could develop into a flex play later in the season.

In this offense last year he was one of those shifty, tough players who had the ability to take a pass to the house. Year removed from ACL surgery, no Saquon for his 1st 2-3 weeks and Waller in the house? It's going to take a week or two for him to get his legs under him but later in the season he could definitely become a weapon.

WR Snap count last night

Slayton - 42 (84%)
Hodgins - 33 (66%)
Campbell - 21 (42%)
Hyatt - 16 (32%)
Robinson - 11 (22%)....had 5 targets on 11 snaps.
Sheppard -2 (4%)

Due to jet lag I missed most of the second half last night. I'm looking for any input on how Robinson looked last night.

My takeaway from the first half was Robinson looked pretty good - I thought he was one of the quickest players on the field. His routes looked crisp, he was posting solid YAC and he clearly was a favored target.

For keeper/dynasty purposes, this is one of those situation vs. talent moments. Jones isn't going anywhere until at least 2025, and the Giants' offense looks utterly lost. My biggest concern is that at least from the first half, Robinson was almost exclusively used as a short/underneath receiver. On the other hand, I'm not sure I saw Jones throw a single downfield pass.

I'm willing to give Robinson some time to see how the situation looks with Barkley back.

Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.
The second-year slot receiver was dominating snaps and targets for the Giants in Week 5 with over 70% routes run before injuring his knee. He was able to return late in the game, but now he will start the week off with a missed practice. Obviously, his ability to return to the game on Sunday inspires some confidence that he can play on Sunday night against the Bills, but he’ll need to log some practice time before that becomes possible.

I thought he got taken out of the game to get checked for a concussion. Now they’re saying he injured his knee? Pretty sure he was held out of practice last Wednesday as well. I think maybe they’re just giving him vet rest.

The guy's logged about 45 minutes of game action in his career and he gets vet rest?

I think it’s mostly because of his ACL but yeah pretty much. He was held out of practice last Wednesday too. My point was that there was no indication that he injured his knee on Sunday, and it was said he was taken out to be evaluated for a concussion.

Giants HC Brian Daboll said Wan’Dale Robinson (knee) will practice on Thursday.

Robinson was one of several Giants to miss practice on Wednesday, but the second-year receiver will be back on the field in some capacity on Thursday. Robinson has been slowly ramped up since returning to the field in Week 4, and has 17 receptions for 79 yards through three games. Robinsons’ usage has been encouraging, but the Giants haven’t pushed the ball down field to him on too many occasions. He’s a fringe WR3/WR4 in PPR leagues against the Bills.

Wan’Dale Robinson (knee) is not listed on the Giants’ Week 6 injury report against the Bills.

Robinson didn’t practice on Wednesday, but was able to get on the field over the last two days to close out the week. The second-year receiver who is still working his way back from a torn ACL suffered last season popped up on the report with a knee injury, but will be ready to go against the Bills. Robinson is averaging 5.7 targets per game this season, but will be little more than a WR3/WR4 against the Bills.

Am I the only one in the world considering starting him today?

T. Taylor targeted him heavily last week. WASH a great matchup. Weather not as bad as originally thought.

Feeling alone in the world.

I'm starting him. Over Michael Wilson and Jayden Reed. So not exactly stellar options. Bye weeks don't have time to be picky.

That was absolutely horrific. Any time I trust a Giants WR they absolutely blow it. I'm not owning a giants WR ROS unless it's possibly Hyatt
