1.06 - Marshawn Lynch RB62.11 - Maurice Jones-Drew RB133.06 - Percy Harvin WR11 4.11 - Steve Smith WR22I was really happy with my first three picks. I'm pretty conservative with my first round picks, and generally don't go QB or WR unless I feel it's a huge gap (I was one of the guys who was willing to take Mathews over Rodgers or Megatron last year, pre collarbone), so Lynch was a pretty easy decision for me. I debated between MJD and Roddy in the 2nd. Roddy was probably the safer overall choice, but I didn't trust myself to pick a good value RB in the mid-rounds, so I went with someone I felt comfortable would hold his draft position. I thought going conservative RB-RB to start off would hurt me, but getting Harvin in the 3rd made everything okay. Felt I had a really solid foundation, with some upside in MJD and Harvin. Really unhappy with Smith in the 4th. I was planning on going QB, hoping for Wilson or Luck, with RG3 as a highupside backup plan. Unfortunately, the QB run ended just before it got back to me, and my QB wish list was depleted well before it got back to me. If Wayne had just lasted 2 more picks, then I would have loved my team. The dumb thing about the Smith pick is I really thought on it for a long time, and ended up making a decision that I'm not sure makes sense. I wanted a high upside guy to go with my solid foundation, but not sure how much upside he has in this offense. Plus, he's turning 33 this year, not a good sign for a guy who relies on his speed to make plays. In hindsight, the right play probably would have been Jennings, but I was too conservative to go with a guy whose future is that uncertain at this point.
