:( When you get a starting QB like Shaun Hill that late in a Mike Martz system you have to be a little gitty about it. As of now MoMo is the starting RB in SEA, so is Watson. #### Im loaded
 but nice try. Hill is not the QB Martz needs. Smith hasn't proven himself to be either, but I'm 100% confident that Smith starts if healthy.
Shaun Hill is pretty good - I wouldn't disregard him completely - at all.
I have him in another league, but I wasn't impressed when actually watching him play. He doesn't have the ability of Smith. Now, I realize of course that Smith hasn't exactly lit up the NFL, but if Martz wants to make his system work, Smith will have every opportunity.

Have SA and Rudi been cut yet? It's a little early to be saying that you know who is starting.

This draft has been a lesson in WR value. Every round I have a few i'd like to take, but then they're gone and it's my pick. So I look at the next pile and say "one of them will be available in the next round." The problem is, they haven't been. I saw it happening so I jumped on Hester early, but i'm probably going to have to sacrifice strength at K and in a 2nd D/ST to jump on a couple WR's a few rounds earlier than I had planned.

i like it anyway, the TE's you both got late and they'll both be very serviceable. your WR's solid top3, and one of those rookie rb's should land in a starting situation.

Didnt you learn anything from taking Russell last year that a rookie QB is a bad idea?

Grade C-

2.06 - Edgerrin James, RB16, AZ

3.11 - Darren McFadden, RB21, ®

7.11 - Deuce McAllister, RB36, NO

11.11 - Chris Johnson, RB54, ®

12.06 - Brandon Jackson, RB59, GB

Not bad actually, alot of risk though, Edge might be done and was a reach there, good value with Deuce, nicely done

Grade B

4.06 - Marvin Harrison, WR22, INDY

5.11 - D.J. Hackett, WR30, SEA

6.06 - Kevin Curtis, WR34, PHI

9.11 - Kevin Walter, WR53, HOU

10.06 - Roydell Williams, WR57, TEN

This is your weakness imo. Harrison is done, Hackett is a good player but is he just a product of a system like djax? Curtis might be a good value if they dont bring someone else in, Ive never been in love with his talent. Not alot to like here

Grade D+

8.06 - Ben Watson, TE14, NE

14.06 - Leonard Pope, TE25, ARI

Good value here, Pope really came on at the end, little bit above average

Grade C+

16.06 - Adam Vinatieri, PK6, INDY

17.11 - Jason Elam, PK19, DEN

I like these two

Grade A-

15.11 - Buffalo Bills, D24, BUF

Huge blunder here should have taken another one

Holy smokes Jeff that team is about as loaded as a team can get

Ok I'll give this a try, with some of my worthless commentary. Maybe Jeff P can help me out with the colored names to make it easier to read.

Donovan McNabb, QB9, PHI

Matt Schaub, QB15, HOU

Not a bad group of QB's. I think that between the two of them each week, I should get a high score there somewhere.

Brian Westbrook, RB4, PHI

Michael Turner, RB20, SD/FA

Kevin Jones, RB33, DET

Derrick Ward, RB50, NYG

Pierre Thomas, RB66, NO

Average to Above average group. Turner should end up a strarter for the contract he will get and Jones has a leg up on the starter spot in Detroit if, and a big if, he gets back from injury. Ward would be smart to look for a team he can contribute on. Thomas is a wild stab at it. I think New Orleans would be smart to dump Deuce and his salary and try this guy out.

Steve Smith, WR9, CAR

Vincent Jackson, WR45, SD

Darrell Jackson, WR48, SF

DeSean Jackson, WR69, Rookie

Jacoby Jones, WR72, HOU

James Hardy, WR82, Rookie

Troy Williamson WR96 MIN

Yikes, hopefully Delhomme is healthy because my WR group is riding with Smith. Great pick if things pick up where they left off. Very mediocre group after that. Maybe Darrell Jackson can put some stick'em on his gloves. I had to take VJ where I got him. I picked DeSean before the combine where they measured him to be 4'6" tall, bad pick now. I really like Jacoby Jones and I think James Hardy will end up somewhere that he can contribute. Williamson, never liked him, but hoping that Tice had to get him to Jax. for a reason.

Dallas Clark, TE6, INDY

Please stay healthy. Hopefully I make it thru his bi week.

Robbie Gould, PK15, CHI

Sebastian Janikowski, PK28, OAK

Kickers are a crapshoot. I didn't want to start the run. Didn't realize the run would go so fast and got stuck with possibly an unemployed Janikowski. I think he will pick up somewhere if he does get cut.

San Diego Chargers, DEF3

Miami Dolphins, DEF30

I had San Diego as #1 on my board so happy to get them at #3. Dolphins, yuck, got stuck there.

Overall, I think outside of WR, my squad is pretty solid. Hoping TE won't come back to bite me on my bi weeks or if Clark gets injured.

Tony Romo, QB4, DAL

Alex Smith, QB28, SF

Drew Stanton, QB37 DET

Pretty happy with these QBs, although Smith is a risk. I don't expect much out of Stanton, but it's possible that he starts, and if the Lions end up keeping Roy (I think they will), Calvin improves as a 2nd year WR should, he poses nice upside with a 19th round pick. I was surprised that he fell to me here. Romo is of course the QB I expect to score most weeks and is among the elite.

Clinton Portis, RB9. WASH

Cedric Benson, RB35, CHI

Justin Fargas, RB38, OAK

Jamaal Charles RB 53, ROOK

Drafting from the 10 spot, I wasn't sure what would fall, so I was happy with Portis as a solid #1 RB. I then waited as we only get to use 2 RBs per week and figure Benson should keep his starting job for another year - FFers don't like him, but those who matter (coaching staff) seems to. His ypc wasn't good, but the offense struggled this year, blame cannot be placed solely at his feet. Fargas might continue his 07 form in which he finally demonstrated the skill we knew Huggy Bear Jr. had. Charles - who knows?

Roddy White, WR23, ATL

Santana Moss, WR29, WAS

Derrick Mason, WR35, BAL

Ron Curry, WR52 OAK

Justin Gage, WR68, TEN

Matt Jones, WR89 JAX

What can I say about this hodgepodge? Four of them have potential to shine in any game, while Mason and Gage should provide some consistency. Not an exceptional group by any means, below average on the whole, but I expect to get lucky.

Antonio Gates, TE1, SD

Jeff King, TE23, CAR

Gates... nothing needs to be said here. I like King a lot as TE2. Moose will take away some of the receptions he would otherwise get, but a healthy Delhomme, or more experienced

#####
should mean more TDs. All I need in a TE2 is someone who could score a TD or two in any week.

San Francisco 49ers, DEF23

New York Jets, DEF27

 waited too long here, but after the top D's were taken, I didn't really see the point in taking one, then I waited... if Briggs hits San Fran, one of my Ds will be greatly improved. J-E-T-S might lose Vilma, but that's probably not a bad thing, especially if they find a NT.

Stephen Gostkowski, PK1, NE

Jay Feeley, PK26, MIA

With Moss probably back, New England will score plenty again. I'm hoping to get more FGs and less PATs, but scoring is good either way.

Overall, I'll need some breaks, but everyone will. Mad props to JP for plucking most players who may have fallen to me in the odd rounds - although as the "experienced" guy here, that was expected.

and 2 giants, 2 bucs, 2 dolphinsis it a strategy to group your players like that so you can get through the bye's "quicker" ?

It was not a strategy (other than getting MJD and Taylor) and it is really not a concern for me. Most of the players involved are backups that were drafted in the back half of the draft. Not saying that they would not be important, but hopefully my starters will do the job. The only ones that have me a bit worried are MJD/Taylor and Garrard, but at that point, I had to have my QB1. I wanted Eli or Cutler, but they were both taken before my pick. VY was my only other decent option, but I liked Garrard more than him, for 08 at least.

The more I look at RoadWarriors team the more I like it. Good job (just realized I've got the backups to your starters at RB). Anyway, since I've enjoyed seeing all of your lineups, here's mine so far:

This teams obvious weaknesses are at QB behind Big Ben, WR3, and DEF. Seattle's defense is going to give me a lot of crappy weeks. I expect that to eventually kill me. Overall I think I had a great start but then my noobishness picked up in the later rounds and I made some poor decisions. I've learned for next year and for the future drafts of this nature. I expect this team to go out about midseason, or sooner if Larry Johnson and one of my top two WRs aren't productive. I'd give it an outside chance to be one of the final teams, but only if my 2 WRs are consistent and another (Hester?) steps up into a similar role. The one strength of the team (TE) was intentional from the outset when I decided I wanted 3 TEs. In retrospect I should have left it at 2 very good TEs and taken a 2nd defense where I picked Scaife. Hopefully i'll get lucky and have consistent and excellent production from my TE spot. If I don't, I could go out earlier than expected.
