Some good RB options going off the board here.

I almost went with DeW, but concerned about Fox's usage (or lack thereof) of him yet again.

JStewart - good option, but again too much uncertainty for me in Round 5.

FTaylor just seemed like too good of a value to me there (RB18 last year, very little expected to change in his situation).

Also affords me with a solid RB2 with LT2, so I have lots of options going forward.

I was also looking at DeW, TJones and one other yet to be picked RB, but I chose Stewart instead. One lesson learned for me on these 16 team survivor pools is that you really need to take chances when you are at, or near, the turn.

I need a RB2, WR3 and QB1. There's really one guy at each spot that stands out above the others, too, so this is a tough pick. All of them have some degree of risk, all of them will be gone when my next pick comes around, and all of them have substantial upside. I hate spending an early pick on him, but I think the steepest dropoff will be at QB, so I'll take

Brett Favre

Hoping for Favre, McNabb or Ward here. Plan D...Garrard really won me over this year. Won't give me 30+ weeks but very solid PPG.

5.15 QB David Garrard

6.02 QB Eli Manning

Wanted somebody else but I don't think there's going to be a lot of QB options by the time it comes back to me.

Reference post:

Team Blue

QB: None.

RB: Marion Barber and Micheal Turner

WR: Roddy White, Derrick Mason and Kevin Curtis.

TE: Gates

General notes:

13 teams now have at least 1 QB

Surprising amount of RB's are slipping just as much as some sub-par ones with jobs went over a lot of good WR talent.

Vernon Davis going in the 4th. Still confused.

6.8 Deuce McAllister

He's coming back well from his injury. The Saints learned that their offense is not as good without him, and that Bush is not an ideal every down back. If he stays with the Saints, he's a great value in the sixth round. If he goes somewhere else, he's an even better value.

I had him and Chambers lined up when I took Favre in the fifth. I'm thrilled that one of them came back to me.

That's a very good value assuming New Orleans keeps him.

Going to roll the dice here

6.09 Kevin Jones RB Det

some scary conversation comingo ut about the RB position in Detroit, but I'm pretty sure he finishes better than RB34.
