Yahoo Drafts (2 Viewers)

It seems to me that the Yahoo rankings are probably the best source of ADP for anyone drafting in a Yahoo league.

Even in some of my very competitive leagues a guy simply won't last very long once he's the top-rated undrafted player according to Yahoo. The problem I see with this is that people will deviate from the list position-wise if your set-up dictates it. Also, it only takes 1 smart player to dig out a guy who's ranked way too low by Yahoo so it might not be that accurate there either.

Does anyone play on Yahoo and incorporate their pre-ranks into your ADP?

Everyone has their own ADP data set that they select. That's what I was referring to.

Next time consider reading the entire post before checking to make sure I'm not an idiot. It's pretty obvious that I understand what ADP is and that I'm not moronic enough to think that Yahoo's pre-ranks would be a useful tool in ranking players for my draft.

I think this is a decent idea. Not just because the rankings themselves influence the picks, but because if anyone autodrafts, thay rarely seem to adjust the rankings beforehand.

Someone in my local league made the observation that even at antsports, the ADP returned from mocks and real drafts is influenced by the order, and if we wanted a "pure" ADP the player lists would be alphabetical. I think he's right

Yahoo RANKINGS aren't nearly as bad as they were in the past. I still wouldn't trust them to draft a team for me though. Now CBS Sportsline, that opened up free leagues again, has a HORRIBLE ranking list...
