Yahoo Lineup Adjustment after Opener? (2 Viewers)

Does anyone know if you will be able to modify your lineup for the remaining week 1 games after the opener this Wednesday?

Check your league settings because they could be different. But every Yahoo league I've been in lets you swap players as long as that specific player's game hasn't started yet.

Yes, but you will not be able to swap out or in anyone that has begun to play.
I just set up a league a couple weeks ago using yahoo. The commish has a couple options to select from. a)They can either make everyone go on the ww until Tuesday as soon as the first game of the week starts.b)They can make players go on the ww after their own game starts...you can pick up free agents throughout the weekend as long as the game hasn't started.c)No one goes on ww and it's a free for all.Like it was said before....check your settings. I don't believe option b was available last year so your commish might not have made this change. If he hasn't, I would ask for him to do it. I know that you shouldn't change things after the draft, but this is a no brainer for me.

The Yahoo league I'm in allows you to swap players who haven't played their games yet right up until their KO.

How about dropping a player Thursday and adding a defense for the weekend? I know if I drop the player now he'll get picked up by the guy I'm playing and played against me. Would rather he still be on waivers at noon on Sunday...

This league has no WW, except when a player gets dropped (WW for 3 days). I know all players will be available on Th-Fr, just not sure if yahoo will let me put the defense in for this week or not. I think it will...

Last year, if a guy played on Thursday and he was in your starting lineup, you couldn't drop him until after Sunday. I'm guessing the same will apply to Wednesday-Thursday games this season. If you're talking about having a guy on your bench Thursday night and then dropping him after the game for someone playing Sunday, I'm not sure if yahoo would put the person on your roster for Week 1 or kick it over to Week 2. You can always drop the guy 10 minutes before kickoff Thursday night; that should tie up the dropped player through Sunday and clear you of any waiver wire deadlines.

As long as the guy IS NOT in your starting line up on thurs you can drop him whenever you want, pick up a def and play it anytime before the game that defense is in is played.

If it's a mon night def you need to get it in your line up by midnight sunday of wjhatever time zone

I don't think this is correct. When a player's game has started, that roster spot is locked up until next week. If you drop that player for someone else, you will not be able to use them until the following week. But you can drop a player who's game has not started yet for someone else and play them the same week.
