Where is the phone coming from? through the food slot. they shine a light through the slot when they feed you or when they throw a phone inside, so you are temporarily blinded.

I obviously see my kidnapper when he hands me the phone, right? Or is it slid through the food slot? Can I use it to play candy crush after making my one call? Its a flip phone from around 2000, not a smart phone. they also provide phone numbers to the various TV sets, but the phone barely has any juice left. There is no outlet inside your room
