Seems like there are more young QB's that are performing at a high level than I can ever rememeber.

Rivers

Eli

Roeth

VY

Leinart

Smith

Vick

Romo

Cutler

Grossman

Jason Cambell

Tavarius Jackson

Losman

... all born in the 80's and already playing at a pretty high level given their inexperience. Give these guys a few more years and a few of these guys could be potential HOF cantidates.

Carson Palmer*
I was trying to keep it to QB's just born in the 80's but he was very close. DEC of '79. For that matter Brees was also born in '79. Add those two guys to this list and it's almost unreal how much young talent there is at the QB position in the NFL right now.
I didn't realize he wasn't born in the 80's, but yeah there are a lot of talented, young QBs in the league. It's like all of the vets retired and/or got too old to play at a high level all at once. That or the game is evolving and requires young players to pick up their game earlier in their career. It seems like teams are expecting more from their youngsters at every position. Just look at all of the talent this year's draft has produced and how quickly they have all made an impact on their team.

Disagree.I've seen plenty of young QB's given their shots at QB and just stink up the joint. These guys aren't just young guys given an early shot. These are all young guys that look like they can carry the load of being a starting QB for the next 5-10 years. As you can see from the list I compiled(and the two we added) nearly half the league has a QB that they can probably feel good about for a long time. Since I've followed football I've just never seen this much talent this early at that position.
