I don't think that Dave Chappelle has been funny in a long, long time. That's my personal opinion.

The Closer and this last one were a steep drop.

Pretty much everything before that was great.

Shane Gillis is not funny

Yes he is.

I love Shane’s stand up, but I don’t think I’ve really laughed at any of the clips I’ve seen from podcasts.

Shane cracks me up. He does a great voice of a former president. Apparently hosting SNL on 2/24 despite getting fired from it 5 years ago.

Surprisenly enough I actually turned it off. Was pumped to watch then it just got dumb quickly for me. Felt like he was trying to hard to address his haters instead of just being funny.

I've felt like he has been trying hard to address something this whole time since he left his show and it has ruined his comedy. But that's subjective, and I understand that. It felt like he got serious about everything really quickly and the humor dried up.

I thought I posted this already but if you haven't seen Leanne Morgan's Netflix special you should check it out. She's great.

Willing to try. But lately it seems that every female comedian's act is about men and sex and men and sex..it gets OLDDDDD

Huge fan but yeah I didn't really like his latest special, was the only reason we turned Netflix back on around NYE/NYD so we could catch it
I understand comedians and their egos but it just didn't feel like anything new.
I might give it a second listen, my son tells me I didn't understand what Dave was doing early in the show but it just felt like ego stroking to me.

Richard Pryor is the best of all time IMO.

Anyone ever see that episode of My Name is Earl with Norm McDonald playing the son look alike of a deceased character played by Burt Reynolds? Talk about having the same mannerisms. Plus he plays a real a-hole. Funny stuff. Watch it if you haven’t. Episodes are on Hulu.

He also did 2 hours with a 10 minute intermission which was interesting. Best part of the night though was the computer lights not tracking him sometimes and him playing with them and using it as a punchline.

Love me some Jo Koy. His early stuff kept me rolling on the floor, the last special was kinda meh but he still cracks me up. From the diaphragm!
