your gut feeling needed ... does J. Norwood play this weekend? (1 Viewer)

Norwood's been sitting out of practice all week and the team hasn't really said much about whether he'll play or not.

im sure theres no new info out there, otherwise it would've been posted, but im wondering what everyone's opinion is regarding the probability of him playing this weekend.

thanks!

If he does, he'll get his 5-6 carries for 30 yards and 3 catches for 15. Big deal.

It is not sounding good and don't imagine they're inclined to rush him back after Dunn's performance last week. An injury and a good game for Dunn were the worst things that could have possibly happend for Norwood. When will he be a free agent?

Norwood has been a solid flex option for leagues that have return yards, for what it is worth....

no disrespect, but so has Leon Washington. what´s your point?
It was in reply to the poster who said "Would it matter?" It does matter to some obviously.

I just don't get the impression Petrino is all that interested in getting Norwood some PT. Not one of his guys so I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Atlanta draft their back of the future in April.

I don't get the idea of what our gut feeling has anything to do with Norwood playing.

No, but would it really matter?
For those of us in the unfortunate situation of having to start Dunn this week, knowing that he will get more touches with Norwood out of the lineup. Yes, it does matter

My take. If he plays, he won't play much. He did get 6 carries in limited post-injury action against SF, so maybe they were trying to get him the ball more, but having missed Thursday practice, I don't see him getting much. Dunn owners should have a pretty decent start, Falcons were definitely commited to the run against SF, and Car should be a better matchup.
