Yes, I called Spotify "flinty." They are. It's a ridiculous relationship they seem to have with the artists. I don't know the exact specifics, but the money per stream is ridiculous. It won't even keep your equipment out of the pawn shop.

I originally added the whole album by The Lone Bellow so the list is back to more reasonable 14 songs and 59 minutes.  The Neil Young song is three times as long as any other song on the playlist.

Count me out for the playlist of title tracks from albums.

i actually was referencing a (hopefully) great one last night. I can't wait to select it. The list may be a train wreck, but each individualized song will probably be good. Treat it like the CD generation would. Skip tracks.

Like, could any of us answer "What is your average day like..." better than hearing these playlists? Not that it gives a glimpse into personality, but just the ambient noise in the background.

A rant about a lot of things, some of them political. The title refers to the Jackson State and Kent State shootings of student protesters, which happened in 1970, the year the song was released. 

Greetings from Durham, N.C.  My friends (the ones I'm seeing The Wood Brothers with next Friday) who live here called me a couple days ago in a pickle, cause they have been in California checking on their house in Oakland, visiting friends they haven't seen in 10 years, and most importantly seeing a friend with terminal cancer. They have an elderly dog, and the pet sitter who was supposed to take over for the original later today told them they had to back out. My friends couldn't find anyone on short notice to take over this weekend, so here I am. It's been a ####ty day. I took Cole to see the Internal Medicine Specialist today. She suspects he may have low grade lymphoma. She did a CBC and sent it to a pathologist. If that doesn't answer her questions, an endoscopy for a biopsy will be needed. It cost 1800.00. I've already spent a fortune, but I got 1,750.00 for being sideswiped. I'm not fixing my car, and that will go towards Cole's healthcare. My cats are being looked after until I'm back Sunday later in the afternoon. I hope Cole will be O.K.  I'm drinking some of their wine and listening to the Beatles right now. Across the Universe is on now! .  

One of my friends who lives in this house told one of their friends I was coming into town, and he texted me wanting to know if I wanted to meet him and a friend out. His wife left him a few years ago for a woman. He says he can't compete with a woman, so in hindsight it's better than being left for another man. They share custody of their two kids. Anyway, he is a nice guy. I've met him several times before, but I'm not in the mood to hang out tonight. I told him maybe tomorrow I'd meet up with him. He looks like a young Elton John. One time he went to a college football game with us, and he spent the night at their house. He slept on the couch, and he didn't want any type of blanket on him at all. He just wanted to lay there. I remember asking him if I could at least put a wash cloth or paper towel over him.   Ok,  I've gotta think about picking a horn song.

She is pretty mellow. She is losing her hearing and sight. They don't like boarding her, because she has to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, and she couldn't be let out at those hours while boarding. She can only take short walks. She was having seizures due to something, but they have stopped. Sometimes a back leg gets out if its joint. She was fine tonight going around the block. This is her.
