Who are we liking in the big fight tonight.

Canelo -600 vs angula +450

I don't see how angula can win unless he lands a huge knockout. Canelo is technically sound so doubt he lets himself get caught off guard. Also canelo has nice power himself and angula has no defense

I haven't been following the ponies as close this year and haven't really looked at this race, but I get the feeling Game On Dude has lost a step this year. MMM and WTC are very formidable and I'd be surprised if he can hold them off...if he gets loose on the lead he may have a shot but it wouldn't really shock me if he misses the board completely

agree the 8 Hear The Ghost is a nice longshot at 20-1

My buddy who follows the ponies more closely than I do said this about Game On Dude

Rocky Balboa (2006) was playing in the cardio cinema today. I had never seen it, and I know that it gets old and I don't want to sound like one of those guys talking about MOOSE or whatever, but you would think, with his fighting style, that the fight would be a lock to finish INSIDE THE DISTANCE.

Mo and I talked about it in here earlier today and we are still waiting on his take. Canelo didn't make weight though. Plus Angulo was winning his last fight on the scorecards before fracturing his orbital, and Lara saw the mat for the first time in his career that fight, twice. Virgil Hunter is a good trainer. Angulo showed a lot of improvement after his first training camp with him, and now he is back for more. Already on Angulo SU and by KO/TKO. But hey, I'm the guy who bet on Rocky Balboa to finish inside the distance..

i actually just watched the lara/angulo fight. Angulo did look good but Lara doesn't have near the power Canelo does. Angulo could basically just move forward without getting pounded by big shots. If this fight turns out to be a war and Canelo goes toe to toe with him anything can happen with one huge shot, but i think Canelo is going to use his technical skills and not allow that to happen.

I'm not even a big fan of Canelo and thought he'd get slaughtered by Mayweather, which he did, but i'm having a hard time seeing many ways Angulo can pull this one off as he's a bit too one dimensional.

Good points on his trainer and improvement, that could definitely throw a wrench into things. The missing weight was a bit of a head scratcher too, maybe Canelo wasn't working as hard as he should have to prepare for the fight. Always good to hear multiple takes on fights.

Guys I need a book with lightning fast payouts that also will match Sportsbook on ALL their props with no limit on how much I can bet. I also want to "fade" the Lakers SU and ATS for the rest of the season for a G apiece. :thumbup:

My hhhanus was a bit puckered on the over.

If the Whiz can't hold a 23 point halftime lead on the Bucks i'll take the loss. It was capped right....which it isn't really capping against teams that want to lose.
