    Isiah Pead>Darryl Richardson.

Sometimes it can be something as stupid as how Pead acted knowing that SJax was there and in his way. He may come to camp a new man this year knowing he can be the lead guy from day one. He may run better behind the revamped line than Richardson. Richardson might get hurt. Etc. I drafted...

    Mendenhall

Having gone to Illinois and lived in Pittsburgh, I'm glad I can finally divest my interest in Mendenhall. Just have to get him off one more fantasy team so hopefully I can find someone else who thinks he can be a like a phoenix rising from Arizona. I'd be surprised if at this point in his...

    ***2013 Chicago Bears Offseason Thread***

I don't care if Urlacher plays for the Pack. It would make sense since at this point with a new coach/GM on the job for a year, the Bears are most likely in a transition year (defense last year was overrated, feast or famine based on turnovers). GB would be a good place to go for a ring since...

    ***2013 Chicago Bears Offseason Thread***

Bears have paid Urlacher 10 of millions of dollars over his career. He could retire 10 times over. If he wanted to stick around Chicago so much, it's not like he is hurting for money. And I'd love to be slapped in the face if I got 2 million a year to play football afterwards. The whole "I...

Did Big Ben have that baby yet?

Saw him at Patron in Wexford today. Wife still very pregnant. On a side note, he didn't have more than two minutes where anyone left him alone.

    Chicago Bears 2012 Offseason Thread

Harder and harder to be a Bears fan each year. Had hope this draft would be different with Emery. More of the same crap - best OL prospects fall to us and we whiff on the pick completely.

    Cutler broken thumb

Just looked it up - Hanie only signed a one year deal. Guess we won't be getting anything without franchising him (ha).Oh well, I hope Hanie uses this to go on to bigger and better things. I always thought he had great potential.

    Cutler broken thumb

As a Bears fan, this obviously sucks. You want the whole team to stay healthy when you're on this kind of win streak. However, Hanie is not the worst that could happen. In fact, in a perfect world, he'll light it up for the next 6 weeks (against some weak opponents) and then demand a decent...

***2011 Chicago Bears Regular Season Thread***

What have the Lions really done so far? beat TB - good win, but it was week one Decimated KC - big deal barely beat the Vikings - again, big deal and they should have never been down so much barely beat the hobbled Cowboys - again, big deal (see Vikings) Bears have lost to Green Bay and New...

    Pick 'em Week 3

Calling Green Bay over Chicago at Soldier a "no-brainer" is a little crazy given that the teams are barely different from last year and every game was close. Same with Tampa and Atlanta, especially with Tampa at home. I agree, GB and ATL should win, but to me those are much closer to a toss-up.

    2011 offseason dynasty trades

Yup, he still wasn't on my keeper list. No matter how I look at it, he didn't make the cut.

    2011 offseason dynasty trades

Just traded Steven Jackson and Manningham for the 1.1 . Manningham was kind of a throw in as he was on the borderline of keepers. Now I have to decide if I go BPA (Green) or need (Ingram). I'm totally stocked at WR (Fitz, Bowe, Wallace, VJax, Marshall) and somewhat at RB (Ray Rice, Mendy...

What does your FF rookie draft look like now?

Jones Green Ingram Thomas Williams Cobb Smith Young Baldwin Little A bunch of the WRs went to teams where they'll have a great chance to be producing within two years. Most of the 2nd/3rd are in RBBC hell. I wouldn't want to make the Williams pick, but it's probably what I would do...

    Any Bears Fans Nervous?

As a Bears fan, I'm not nervous but not overconfident. I'd say 75 times out of 100, they'd beat the Hawks at home. Anything can happen this year so I don't know why so many Bears fans are so overconfident. I do think the D will take care of business but maybe Hasselbeck will come out in Pro...

    Anyone selling Reggie Wayne

I sold him for the 1.06 in this year's draft, but only because I have him for one more year under contract and he was barely cracking my lineup this year. I can sign a rookie to 5 years, so rolling the dice and hoping to land a top 3 WR from this year's class with the pick.
