Traded for Charles on June 8th. Tried getting him for a second round draft pick but was forced to give up a first rounder. Great to see my investment pay off. The draft pick unfortunately turned into the 1.5, but if a RB is selected with the 1.5 pick it will cost the owner $32. Charles' price...

If this truly has nothing to do with Marshall's and McDaniels relationship then McDaniels can take himself out of the picture completely. This is a contract dispute that should be handled by the GM/Owner and Marshall's agent. MickeyD can and should stick with coaching and let this thing play...

I agree. There has to be more to the story than just him wanting a new contract... but then again we are talking about Brandon Marshall.

Looks like he's just trying to secure his future. No one likes to play out their final year of a contract. To much risk if they get injured.

Did he give a reason for wanting to be traded? edit: Looked it up. He's just upset about his contract... I thought maybe he and McDaniels had a fallout. The money issue can and probably will be solved. So this is just posturing by Marshall right now. Not too big a deal, yet.

Isn't Chan Gailey still the OCoordinator? Didn't he put in his new offense last year? You think Haley is going to completely makeover the offense? Very possible I guess, but he doesn't have Fitz and Boldin to build around.
