I know. I KNOW.
In a work league (10 teams PPR) and championship week is actually a 2-week combined score championship.
Are there any teams you would STAY away from this week? It seems like almost all teams have something to play for in the AFC. The big issue would be the Tennessee-Houston...
We all know Cole Beasley is not vaccinated...are you putting him on your DND list? Are there any others? Do you care? Is it a factor in your draft strategy?
The thought popped into my head recently with certain players and public personas who are anti-vax catching the disease,
SI article with...
In my 14 team non-ppr old school dynasty league (year 22)...
I made an offer for Zeke...
Kerryon Johnson
2020 1st (1.04)
2021 1st (prolly late as i would think i'd make the playoffs and do well)
2021 2nd
and was turned down without a counter.
I cant seem to find any articles about these guys this year....
I threw my scoring into the VBD Excel app and I didnt see much difference. I've never played in a league that has returner yards for individuls.
If someone could point me in the right direction...please and thank you
Ugh. I thought I had everything covered.
Back when we wrote the rules, we stopped all WW/Free Agency (effectively locking rosters for the rest of the season) just before the Week 12 games. The intention was to make owners make hard decisions, especially if they were headed to the playoffs. But...
I've seen a billboard the last few days touting a Roller Coaster with Samsung Gear VR headsets called Rage of the Gargoyles.
Supposedly it's hit a few Six Flags across the country...has anyone tried it? Is there ANY WAY this cannot be awesome?
Rage of the Gargoyles
I'm just curious as to the thoughts of the FFA as this is as close to a national sampling as I can get.
Any details/stories that you'd like to share are more than welcome.
I was looking through an old folder of mine and found a VBD spreadsheet from FBG's that I saved in May of 2005. I think it's interesting to see how few players are fantasy relevant (I count 7).
I thought this would help dynasty league players. Even though it's really just a snapshot in time.

Crazy start for Vick tonight.
Anyway, I was just curious as to when everyone who currently owns Michael Vick picked him up.
I grabbed him on Thursday November 20th, 2008.
Cut Matt Bryant to get him.
Yay patience!
So today the owners voted 32-0 to opt out of the current CBA.
PFT came up with an interesting take, that I didn't think about:
Now, I'm in 4 leagues...3 of 'em dynasty/keepers, the other a redraft.I'd probably vote to put everything on hold in all my leagues, but I'm curious as to the rest of...
I was checking out Doug's new updates to pro-football reference.
And I clicked on Boomer's stats.
He had a pretty good career. When he finished he was top 10 in TD passes. Pretty good for a cold weather place like Cincy.
Also, 6 straight years on top five finishes in Yards per completion...
From PFT:
49ERS HIRE MIKE MARTZ by Michael David Smith
Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting that the San Francisco 49ers have hired Mike Martz as their new offensive coordinator.
Martz replaces Jim Hostler, who had one disastrous year as the 49ers' offensive coordinator. Martz spent the...
How do break a 3 way tie?
In this case 3 teams would be tied at 9-5.
One team would win the division. One would get the wildcard. One would get the shaft.
The rules state:
1. Overall record
2. Head to Head
3. Points scored.
Well we would move to Head to Head.
Team A is 3-1 vs B & C...
So I started a league with people I work with.
A pretty good group of guys in IT. Team owners run the gamut from Help Desk, sys admins, managers, all the way up to the CIO.
So, being that this is the 1st year, I had to recruit all these guys. Now that the season is underway and word is getting...
With 8 more hits this season, Ichiro will reach 200 hits for the 7th straight season.
Only one other player in Major League history has 7 straight seasons with 200 hits.
Name him.
