I never heard of any reports suggesting that Wilson took more of the in game responsibilities. Did he contribute to that? Or did Ben and Wilson take over more of the in game responsibilities? And, if so, was that at Haley's behest or Tomlin's?
And if I were Wilson there is no way I would have left for a lateral job with the Vikings if me and the franchise QB were calling the shots on gameday and having so much success.
I think it is likely that Wilson could see that he wasn't getting the Steelers OC job anytime soon and he felt it was time to move on.
