Tiger making a serious charge for Jack's 19 runner-up major titles.
YE Yang has me worried.Looking shaky...
Shouldn't have faked that bet, Fin.Otis> sup?
Couldn't confirm the amount before today's 2nd round, so I'll gracefully let Fin off the hook. It looks like he'll take enough of a beating as it is..
I would advise to fleece The Fin for as much as you can while the shtick is still hot.
I miss the days when Fin was right once in awhile
is this the thread where finless gives away money?
So you also think Tiger is DONE!?You'd think people would learn to not go against Finless at this point.
I've got no horse in this race, but didn't you say:"Sorry Oat, we're not on. I only cleared one bet and that was with PizzaDeliveryGuy. Figured if I wanted to see anyone get lucky it should be the guy driving pies around for a living."(That was post #435) Now you're trying to call out someone for welching on a bet that you had previously backed out of? That's lame. And you did welch out on a bet. Post #383:"Who wants Tiger vs the field?STRAIGHT UP!!!!!!"You didn't say anything about Pizza Delivery guy in particular, nor did you say you were limiting this to a single bet. You asked who wanted Tiger, and when Otis called you, you claimed that you could only clear 1 bet.Pretty sure we're going to see Otis duck financial responsibility here. Just went back over the thread...looks like him and Chase edited it pretty good. Not really surprising.

Yeah.... finless plays golf. You'd think people would learn to not go against Finless at this point.
You'd think everyone would be keeping a notebook at this point. Some good notebooks would avoid some of the responses we've seen here.
How much did you lose again? You'd think people would learn to not go against Finless at this point.
Some good iPhone apps available that cover this. You'd think everyone would be keeping a notebook at this point. Some good notebooks would avoid some of the responses we've seen here.
He made a bad bet and won. It happens. If you want to give me Tiger against the field every time he has a lead going into the final round then sign me up. He hit his 1 of 15 shot this time. All you can do is pay and hope you keep getting presented those good odds. How much did you lose again? You'd think people would learn to not go against Finless at this point.
Nice rationalization. He made a bad bet and won. It happens. If you want to give me Tiger against the field every time he has a lead going into the final round then sign me up. Are you fishing or just stupid? If you don't understand EV I'm not sure this is worth continuing.Nice rationalization. He made a bad bet and won. It happens. As a near-three-digiter you should know better.I've got no horse in this race, but didn't you say:"Sorry Oat, we're not on. I only cleared one bet and that was with PizzaDeliveryGuy. Did he win?So a second place finish. I think it is perfectly clear Tiger is NOT DONE!
I wanted to check in - I got to watch up until the 8th hole or so - didn't see it but heard about it. Sounds like Wang (oh but the hat looks good on you) won it as opposed to Tiger collapsing. I mean chipping in for an eagle 2 coming in ain't too shabby. BTW - what's with "Tiger apologists"? I don't recall anyone apologizing ...I stand by the bet I proposed to you earlier in this thread - he will beat the Nicklaus majors record.Where's all those Tiger apologists now? Binky? Anyone? The guy collapsed out there. Not the Tiger I grew up with.Hello Da Busboy,We have transferred USD 100.00 to your account as requested by '________'.Good luck to you both.Regards,PokerStars Cashier
No sweat on a major course. Wasn't Yang's two-under the best round of the day?No excuses here. He's obviously not done but he 100% choked today.
All he had to do was go out there and shoot -1 and he's holding #15. He didn't make a putt all day.
Agree on the first part but disagree on the second... Tiger hitting a fade into the atmosphere and landing it on the green on a par 4 is incredibly fun to watch. I think one per course like that hole can reward good players off the tee, add some variety, and still not turn it into the playstation version of Tiger Woods golf.I am bummed that he lost today..But Par 5's that are NOT reachable....make the game extremely exciting. I wanna see more of that.....Make it happen USGA. I DONT like the drivable par 4's though...
I'm the exact opposite. I Like 2 shot par 5s and reachable par 4s that are creative and have a ton of trouble. The Hybrid , 5 iron, SW par 5s make me drowsy.I am bummed that he lost today..But Par 5's that are NOT reachable....make the game extremely exciting. I wanna see more of that.....Make it happen USGA. Had had several very makeable putts. Dare I say, putts he would have made in 1999/2001.No sweat on a major course. Wasn't Yang's two-under the best round of the day?No excuses here. He's obviously not done but he 100% choked today.

I agree, but it wasn't like he went all Jean Van De Velde or anything. His putter failed him, and that happens. It's usually his downfall.Trey said:Had had several very makeable putts. This is what keeps Fin from being one of the greats. He's not 100% committed to his craft.Mr. Pickles said:Shouldn't have faked that bet, Fin.Finless said:Otis> sup?
He's definitely a lot less interesting when he drops the cloak. If studs starting rolling around posting like a normal guy in the timsochet threads, it'd be a disaster. And next year's it's Yin's turn.so your major winners this year are Cabrera, Glover, Cink, and Yang
Otis said:Apparently not.Aaron Rudnicki said:is this the thread where finless gives away money?
And you Rudnicki? I don't miss that often. I jinxed the Rays this year (Rays - Back in the Basement), rode McLouth to a near MVP season, we had the Celtic Dominance thread, The Quest for Sir Stanley left the Bruins 6 games short of the cup. How about my 2007 Yankees Rebuilding thread? That one went over well for NY. Time to Cut Bait Hamilton & Webb....useful information well before the injuries came up.
Some may think I'm a clown. Others have pocketed their pride and ridden my information to dozens of fantasy titles and sportsbook dominance.
Which guy do you want to be?
