Fox news cracks me up...Benghazi! Hillary! Comey! AOC! (1 Viewer)

That's how the last one started

It's mind boggling to me, in this day and age at how ignorant our politicians are to their actions in the cyber world.  It was jarring to learn of this attitude during the Hillary investigation and it continues even after being shown problematic and dangerous.
I don't think this is ignorance.  It's arrogance.  They are untouchable.

Ted Cruz looks at softcore porn on twitter or whatever.  Anthony Weiner makes a ton of amateurish mistakes.

I do think Trump's Razor applies here.  Older white men don't fully understand the internet.

One is a potential issue to skirt FOIA and the other is explicitly illegal.  It is more of a policy than a law, but you can get fired for it.
The Public Records act and the national archives act (IIRC) are laws. Avoiding FOIA and archiving requirements and destroying public records are civil, not criminal laws. It is an important aspect of what Hillary did though, and when people talked about swamp draining and locking people up unfortunately they weren't paying attention. It's complex, but then many were following a guy who talked about "acid washed" emails yet wouldn't know a server if it fell on his head. Come to think of it Trump probably thinks a server is the Maitre'D at MarALago.

BOTH are blatant acts of disrespect/disregard of/for this nation's national security.  That's all we need to know.  Morons, all of them....no excuses.

Trump still looks at Hustler.

I watched Hannity a couple weeks ago and I was genuinely surprised by what I saw. I assumed he'd be talking about actual news and putting a right-wing slant on it. The segment I watched was just him sitting there saying a bunch of bizarre crap without any citations as a slide show of various scary slogans like "Deep State" and "Antifa" scrolled behind him. Much of it was about Obama and Hillary, which seemed odd since they are no longer in government. Is this normally what they do on Fox, even now?

We are used to partisanship, even extreme such, but this is surreally authoritarian stuff. Legume says that Pirro called for 1. Mueller to be fired, and 2. Hillary to be arrested. Is this Pirro speaking to Trump or Trump speaking through Pirro? I hope this is pure bluster.
If you can imagine a human centipede, where food eaten and excreted is instead political propaganda and the people curl around so there is no front or back*, alternating between foxnews, trump and trump supporters.  They all feed upon and feed each other.  Trump watches Foxnews and keys his statements upon it.  Trump A/B tests his rallies.  Foxnews responds to their ratings from viewers, and Foxnews editorial show hosts are very cozy with Trump.  Trump supporters take talking points from Foxnews and Trump.

The question I have for people is when did these disgusting ideas start to hit mainstream?  Reagan years?  I'm too young to remember how we got here, I guess.

*I'm not sure if this is anatomically possible

Fox & Friends mentioned the term "secret society" over 20 times on Tuesday and Wednesday ... now that the text message shows it was a joke, silence. Not one mention of secret societies on today's show. Not a correction, not a clarification, nothing.
