Let's give this a try. If it's successful I can do this for other bands.

Very simple... list your top 3 songs in order with #1 being your favorite.

I'll tally up the numbers awarding 3pts for your 1st place vote and 1pt for your 3rd place.

Feel free to discuss and make funnof each other's top 3. Ill let this run til I'm bored and feel like tallying up the scores.

1. Under my thumb

2. Gimmie shelter

3. Paint it, black

Too much Gimme Shelter. It’s like the one Stones song that is way too overplayed to me. Seems like it’s used in every other Scorsese/gangster movie.

3 is impossible but my favorites

Midnight Rambler - the best live song by any band anywhere at anytime . - oh yea, oh yea, oh yea, oh yea

Slipping Away - Keith's best in my opinion

Brown Sugar - Bobby Keys magic and I say yea, yea, yea wooooooooooo

Sympathy for the devil.  This song, if you can still find the video that shows the making of it, is fascinating. It's not really a rock song, but it's a kickkazz rock song. Combines Caribbean bongos with overdubbed rythmic lyrics and shredding guitar solo. Peak performance.

B!tch. Best pure rock song off sticky fingers which was a transition to the 80's.

Loving Cup. Off exile on main Street, legendary album. This one stands out for it's great lyrics and interesting beat. A song I think that gets overlooked in their repertoire.

Wow...this is tough.

Sympathy For The Devil

As Tears Go By

Mother's Little Helper

ETA - Disclaimer - If you ask me tomorrow it is highly probable I give a different list, but Sympathy will always be on it.

Sympathy for the Devil- obviously

Angie- it is pretty and has a little personal meaning back to my middle school days. It starts like it will be throwaway and it develops into an epic.

Jumpin Jack Flash: The version of the  Stones I really love.

Probably my favorite band.  So many really good songs so this list would change

Sympathy - their greatest song

Can't Always Get what You Want

Wild Horses.

Really tough with a catalogue this big, and my list would probably vary by mood. Right now I go with:

Sympathy

Brown Sugar

Angie

Tough one...I'd have to go:

1. Sympathy for the Devil

2. Can't Always Get What You Want

3. Happy - not on anyone else's list yet, but I absolutely never get tired of that song
