Also went Balt/NO, but I'll only have 10 in.Here's my actual entry.
When I did it the first time I did Rams/Patriots (with not enough players going this weekend)
Then I switched to a Chargers/Rams entry (but I didn't love depending on Foles vs Chicago and Rivers vs Baltimore on that first weekend).
At the last minute I tried to go back and put together a better NE/Rams entry but ran out of time.
I ended up with this:
NO vs BAL (which is not what I think will happen - but if you saw my predictions thread that's just as well) I'll have 13 in the Super Bowl if I make it. It was going to be 14 but I swapped out Crabtree/Allen for John Brown:
QB - Drew Brees - 38
QB - Lamar Jackson - 22
QB - Andrew Luck - 21
QB - Russell Wilson - 14
QB - Taysom Hill - 4
RB - Kenneth Dixon - 11
RB - Gus Edwards - 9
RB - Darren Sproles - 8
RB - Rex Burkhead - 7

WR - Chester Rogers - 3
WR - DeAndre Carter - 3
TE - Mark Andrews - 8
TE - Hayden Hurst - 3
PK - Justin Tucker - 9
TD - New Orleans Saints - 12
TD - Baltimore Ravens - 9
Will post my "non-entries" next for posterity
Good luck all!

That really is a major flaw with this contest. Too many people don't understand the rules and that knocks off some very good teams. I'm not sure why FBGs doesn't fix this problem of leaving poor players have such a big impact on who wins. The problem with this contest is how many people will go only 2 players from like 6-8 different teams making the cutoff scores for round 1 and 2 too high for most teams to advance that want to go with 2 bye week teams in the SB. That is why someone won this contest the year Den/Car made it with only 6 players.
This contest isn't very fun would rather do round by round for the playoffs and try and make the count.
I think the rules kind of force you to pick WC teams to go all the way. Do I really expect a Cowboys/Chargers SB? No, but if it happens, I am golden. The problem with this contest is how many people will go only 2 players from like 6-8 different teams making the cutoff scores for round 1 and 2 too high for most teams to advance that want to go with 2 bye week teams in the SB. I don't know. I'd rather have my teams fate in my hands rather than in the hands of people that don't understand the rules.Flaw? That's a feature man

Your fate is in the hands of someone who knows the rules though.I don't know. I'd rather have my teams fate in my hands rather than in the hands of people that don't understand the rules.
pretty much - it's a game of nervesThe part in the rules about your top two players from a each team count but in the SB it's everyone.....that threw me off.
What is the ideal strategy to combat that? Load up on who you think will be in the SB and hope you just skate by the first couple of weeks with players from only a few teams?

not really sure what I was doing. Tried to go heavy on Saints/Chiefs with also leaving a good amount for this week. Off to a decent start with Mack/Coutee
LOL told you I really didn't know what I was doingGonna be tough for you to get through with only 6 counting players this week (one of your Ravens won't count)
If Baltimore and Seattle win, you'll have 9 players next week. And next week is the really rough cut.
Good luck!

Depends on what they do but chargers and eagles both face tough Ds. Big scores put up by more than likely highly owned Luck and Mack isn't going to help you.also im wondering if wilson/carson + the best 2 chargers and eagles is enough for me to advance past this week. i would think it should be, no?
