TRUMP TO INFINITY AND BEYOND HQ - The Great and Positive Place (15 Viewers)

He and Ninja have a hard time making a post without trying to use names and insults at Trump supporters.Trump-trancers is the new one.
I asked for an explanation on why a gun bill, supported by both parties and  90% of the public, sits on McConnell's desk. In response to one of your crew asking why the Dems can't stop the witch hunts and work together to get things done.

Not a single one of you cared to respond to that awesome question. Instead, you sit here whining because I pointed out that your boy is orange.

Let's pretend I typed Trump instead of Cheeto Von Sharpie.  Any chance I can get an actual response now? Or just more whining?

Thanks for making my point.

It is funny that Trump's corruption is disgusting but Hillary's was no big deal and Biden's just gets laughed off.   America!
Are people actually laughing it off though?  I don't think I've seen a whole lot of support for Hillary or Biden, at least not to the level of Trump.  I know that I don't post about them often because I don't care for them.

More people voted for Hillary than Trump?   People seem to be riding Biden pretty hard for 2020.  There are certainly better, less corrupt option, right?

There has never even been an ounce of corruption in Biden's career. That's a Trump invention. Biden't 'fault' was that he hugged two seconds too long. This is Trump 101.  Make Hillary out to be corrupt. Make Comey out to be corrupt. Make Mueller out to be corrupt. Make Biden out to be corrupt. You haven't noticed the pattern?

I don’t like to post in this thread, but since you raise this issue (which is not related to President Trump) I invite you to bring it into the Joe Biden thread because I’ve seen no evidence of any corruption by Joe Biden.

Facts don’t matter.

Are we talking general public or posters on here?  I thought we were talking about the people posting here.
Wasn't really talking about either specifically but it applies to both.  Though here I think more posters would prefer someone other than Biden but as soon as he wins the nomination no one is going to care 2 cents about his corruption or history.

Venturing over to the anti-Trump threads today has been amazing.  They truly believe they have Trump dead to rights.  For all of the smart folks in this forum it amazes me how they can be so wrong all the time.  The Trump hate simply doesn't allow them to think logically and they start considering the whistleblower accusations as facts.  Amazing.  This may be worse than election night for them.

I'll agree with Trumpsters that his presidency is not a growing cancer.

It's already stage IV with full blown AIDS and a hefty dose of black death plague.

This sounds so familiar I don't know why? :lmao:

After crying wolf so many times for years who is still listening?

Counter to all this is the undercurrent of how the Dems want to distance themselves from Biden.  If Biden doesn't win, there's nobody left with a real shot at the nomination who is palatable to the middle.  My wife isn't a Trump fan, didn't vote for him, wasn't planning to vote for him.  However, if Warren or Bernie win she said she would have to vote for Trump.  One person in a state that isn't at risk means nothing, but I can see Biden doing very well in the Midwest.  When you talk about Warren, you speak to someone who barely could dispatch of Scott Brown in Massachusetts.  I think at that point you can safely label FL red and Trump should just go hard at those same 4-5 states in the rust belt.  That path is way harder with Joe Biden in there.

Agreed.  My brother is the same way.  He didn't vote for Trump because he didn't like the way he attacked Cruz.  He didn't vote for Hillary he just abstained.  Granted, he is in Idaho and told me if there was any chance of it going blue he would have voted for Trump.

Biden is the only real threat to Trump IMO.

We do, by releasing the memo yesterday Trump helped draft one of the articles of impeachment that will be passed by the house and then go to the Senate.

Of course It won't get the 2/3 majority needed to remove him from office, but watching Trump on trial in the Senate with Justice Roberts presiding  will be must see TV even for those that don't follow politics as closely as those in this forum. It will be covered gavel to gavel by all the major networks and cable outlets and will dominate every news cycle for as long as it lasts.  I can't believe what will be an intense focus on his wrongdoings will help his reelection prospects (but I could be wrong).
I am confident you will be wrong, we shall see.

Anybody that thinks the public is going to take this phone call serious after the Mueller fiasco has lost their damn mind.

For the record, I do not hate you guys.
Likewise. I loved talking politics IRL till Trump. I hate what has happened to this country politically,  but I'd never let that feeling spill over to individuals who feel differently than I do.

Real hatred should be reserved for truly terrible things like rape or genocide. Or the Green Bay Packers.

Venturing over to the pro-trump thread today has been disturbing. They truly believe anything he does can't be wrong. For all of the [redacted], it amazes me how confident they are. The [redacted] simply doesn't allow them to think logically and they keep blowing off serious transgressions against our democracy. Amazing. This may finally be their wake up call.

I come here to your sacred space in the spirit of inquiry, not to provoke.

Trump supporters -- Hypothetically, if Trump were actually impeached and removed by the Senate, what would you guys do in the 2020 election?  Would you still vote for the Republicans?  Not vote at all?  Vote for Dems?  I'm just trying to get a sense of what the dynamic would be.

I recognize this is a hypothetical, I don't see any chance that this would happen.  But I'm just wondering what your reactions would be if it did happen.

@fatguyinalittlecoatI am not sure what I would do.  I really would like to vote for someone other than Trump, but with what the Dems are offering up it is going to be difficult for me to do.

My grand daughter is going to join the Army after she graduates next year.  While I am really proud of her and her decision I don't want her injured or killed in a useless war.  The main reason I voted for Trump other than I couldn't stand Hillary was he said he would bring our troops home a promise he has not carried through with.

I guess for that reason I would vote for Tulsi or Sanders if they were on the ballot.  As far as Sanders goes  I don't think he could ruin the country with his Socialist ideas in just 4 or possibly 8 years.  Plus once a socialist is in charge maybe we could put all the socialist hog wash to rest after it fails.

He won’t be removed from office

I would vote for the nameless Republican candidate over any of the Democrat final 3 geriatrics.

There is a 1/1204th chance I would vote for Warren in any scenario you give me
