So this is somehow an accomplishment? Judges dying while someone is POTUS is now a victory for one POTUS vs another? This make no sense to me at all. Sounds like dumb luck (no matter who the luck befalls)

It's one of the reasons he got elected if not THE reason. But yeah, bad luck for sure he gets 3 in less than 4 years. How much more/less lucky than the bottom of the recession Obama inherited? Life takes a bit of luck.

Agree with all of this but how is it an accomplishment? He didn’t do anything to create that situation. While I understand it’s the reason why a lot of people choose one direction or another when voting, in case a vacancy comes up, I just don’t understand how that’s considered a win for Trump (or any POTUS) though.
His tax cut? Sure (if that something one supports).
Jobs? Same as above.
In both those cases one can argue he did something that created those situations. So if you (the collective “you” I’m speaking about here) like those they can be considered wins for Trump. But the dumb luck of 3 openings ( 2 if we’re being honest but won’t waste time on that) while your POTUS? Come on.

Better to be lucky then good I suppose. But I do agree, in regards to the SC, having an R sitting in the seat between the years of 2017 and 2020 was a win for conservatives for years to come

In some ways, the luck was given a helping hand by the Dems. Harry Reid using the nuclear option on the filibuster for what was a minor, short-sighted victory set this entire scenario up but, in the specific case of RBG, you have to at least wonder out loud why a woman who was in her early 80's and had battled cancer for nearly a decade didn't consider retiring when Obama was president and the dems controlled the senate. They could have hand-picked anyone they wanted at that time and also avoided this particular scenario.

New cases rising in Texas was what I was commenting on. They've stayed relatively flat since the end of August and that's with increased testing throughout September.

No offense to you or the other Democrats here, but they should have told RGB to take a hike years ago becuse of her age and poor health history. This is on the Democrats. Instead they pumped her up like a penny stock touting her strength and gym routine when she was really in terrible health. No “luck” involved here.

Las Vegas is much more of a destination, better weather, more shows, bigger. AC is cold literally 8 months of the year, apart from the casinos, there's not much to do. Also surrounding States have legalized gambling which cannibalized the industry in AC.

Meh. If Hunter Biden is all that the Celebrity in Chief has.....he must not have much. I don't think anyone voting for Joe thinks Hunter is a very good person. That being said, I do think alot of people voting for Joe have sympathy for him for having a drug addict son who seems like a knucklehead.
