Would be epic if France kicked it in their own goal and then shout - bring on England!
Would be scandalous and likely incur the wrath of the footy gods, but honestly not a bad idea.  Playing England in London is not easy, but then you get the Ukraine/Sweden winner in Rome; then winner of Netherlands/Czech/Wales/Denmark in the semifinal back in London.  Its never wise to look ahead, but seems very likely the England/Germany winner will be a strong favorite to play in the final.

went through my group picks (which I spared you all from).  Not all that horrible.

got 12 of the 24 it the right spot in thdir group (aced the order for A and B)

got 15 of the 16 teams that advanced (I had Finland making it and Austria out)

Got the correct number of points for 6 of the 24 teams.

Will probably see if I nailed any scores later but not bad for knowing nothing. :bowtie:

Had Spain over Belgium as my final though 😕

Oh and a Belgium/Portugal semi lol.  Funnest part of the format is that the group of death is often followed by the bracket of death.

It's sort of shocking how hard the other side of the bracket is.
