####### cheaters. I had Spurs over 3 in the 2nd half. Obviously they threw the match, since the scored 4 in the first half. And this tot game escalated pdq
I'd still take City to win. But Canaries playing well. The Canaries are up 2 nil!!!
I love watching their reactions all half - from the pure elation to being up 3-1, to the worried look of City pegging one back, to the hopefulness that they could see it out in injury time, to winningNorwich fans lookin like me watching a Bills game out there.
Wait -- they scored four in the first half and ZERO in the 2nd half?!?! Fixed. It's the only answer.####### cheaters. I had Spurs over 3 in the 2nd half. Obviously they threw the match, since the scored 4 in the first half.![]()
Its easy to poke fun at City - but not only missing Laporte, they are missing Sane - who was one of only 3 players to get 10+ goals and assists last season. They are so deep, but losing key players also takes a toll. Also, it's pretty clear City miss Laporte badly. Not the same team at all on defense.
Oddsmakers still have them 1/2 favorites. Liverpool 2/1 and everyone else is 50/1+. Liverpool will need to get lucky with health. They're thin across the front and at outside back. Its easy to poke fun at City - but not only missing Laporte, they are missing Sane - who was one of only 3 players to get 10+ goals and assists last season. The post of this on reddit being labeled "NSFW" is appropriateEvery angle on Firmino's assist, set to an appropriately sexy 70s groove.
Watch for VvD raising his arms as soon as Salah receives the pass. He's not even in the box yet and van Dijk knows.
There's a joke in here somewhere.... Something something Ned's Mom something. He's not even in the box yet and van Dijk knows.
Not enough overt racism for you, huh?mehIthe EPL. So much goodness.
538 showing it with both teams at 46% to win league.Bettors will change those odds by midweek.
Obviously its not over. But, its over.
Liverpool are thin - but until that becomes an issue, its not an issue. The season narratives also set up perfectly for Liverpool. Liverpool have a CL trophy now, and will want to win the league. Conversely, City have the league trophy, but will really want a CL trophy at the end of the year. SO, I don't see Liverpool wasting excess energy on CL, and I don't see Man City wasting excess energy trying to reel Liverpool back - particularly if Liverpool beat City at Anfield on November 9.
We kid, but I'm a little worried about gb @otb_lifer. What little I've known of him previously, I've liked....and didn't come across as unhinged as those recent posts. Anybody in touch? I was wondering about him, too. I know he took a hiatus before which was lamented by those of who like to bet the triple crown. Seems like a good guy, we all have our moments. We kid, but I'm a little worried about gb @otb_lifer. Was thinking of him today as the half time guys of the morning game were discussing how hard it was to play the morning games...out of sync and out of routine (Id previously heard older players talk about partying the night before, along the early games brutal). Seems a good time to take chances on upsets or spreads not being met.
See, Arsenal second half today.with teams at all levels being taught to play out of the back at all cost, these type of goals are becoming more and more prevalent

Horrible.See, Arsenal second half today.
In the Man City Norwich game too. It is happening like crazy in all leagues at all levels who insist on this tacticSee, Arsenal second half today.
and maybe wrong thread worthy, but it is highlights like these that drive me crazy that Berhalter is trying to make the US do this.In the Man City Norwich game too. It is happening like crazy in all leagues at all levels who insist on this tactic

I don't understand how MLS doesn't have goal line tech? The EPL has shown it works perfectly (Only thing they seem to have made work), yet MLS isn't using it? But they love their VAR?VAR continues to fail each week.
After a VAR review, this was said to not be a goal

To be fair, thats actually not a great angle - as it does not look straight down the back side of the line.VAR continues to fail each week.

So wheres the red and blue lines like the EPL uses to find a toe nail offside?Sinn Fein said:To be fair, thats actually not a great angle - as it does not look straight down the back side of the line.
Given that the entire ball has to cross the line, I can't say for sure that the ball has crossed completely in that picture.

Often referred to as the "softest hardman in football"that was Otamendi

IIRC- Since Pep has been there, there have been 10 outfield mistakes that led directly to a goal. Oats has 5 of those (Stones has 3). They're going to be fun to watch without Laporte,
I agree with your earlier point - MLS should use actual goal line technology - either the multi-camera system or the chip tracking system. I guess I assumed they did.So wheres the red and blue lines like the EPL uses to find a toe nail offside?
And they put a camera in there but not in the right spot to see the backside of the line?
I just don't understand how these leagues can get these things so utterly wrong.
Yeah I don't understand how they messed up both. And this was more making fun of the EPL's offside calls then the camera angle. But still.I agree with your earlier point - MLS should use actual goal line technology - either the multi-camera system or the chip tracking system. I guess I assumed they did.
The camera angle they have there is close - but its also pretty obviously not in line with the actual goal line, which sort of defeats the purpose.
Maybe he Otamendi's ways?that was Otamendi

Special pull out section in afternoon editionJesse Marsch will become the first American to coach in the Champions League today. Related, he'll also become the first Wisconsin native to coach in the Champion's League today. I was combing my local newspaper, the largest in Wisconsin, looking for the coverage celebrating this historic achievement. Perhaps they are running it in tomorrow's edition.
Sweet, whats the login and password? All set up with my shiny new B/R Live account. Gotta get all these TPS reports out this morning and clear the deck for the start of weekday afternoon football.
