now I"m watching TOR vs MTL, because of the playoff implications.

TOR is just horrible. I hadn't realized. Was holding at 0-0, but just gave up a cheap goal with the GK chickening out from winning a very good crossed ball, leaving the MTL forward to just walk it in on his whiff.

Caillou is playing... CB? as slow as he was... even slower. just slow. Gjordgie looking good.

Lmao.

Sub Jozy ties it with the last kick of the game in the 94th.

Also, Fab out for Liverpool.  The record without him at d-mid is dire.

And maybe Konate is the next big thing, but it's his first start with a midfield of Henderson, Milner and Keita in front of him.  If Liverpool are to win I think it'll be 3-2, 4-3.  There will be goals.

Pogba on the bench for MU. Interesting as he seems the type to be able to wreak havoc in this type of game.

"Is it too little, too late?" he asks 6 minutes and 50 seconds into 7 minutes of stoppage time.  Never change, Macca.

He's always been terrible.  I have never found him to be insightful.  On the second Madrid goal, he provided the hackneyed analysis "Vazquez just wanted it more than Garcia".  Maybe Vazquez was just quicker to the spot, or perhaps Garcia didn't read things properly.  I'm glad to be able to watch more La Liga now with ESPN+ but that happiness is tempered by more Macca in my life.

Is there some other game on today?

Ole is going to get the blame here, but I want to be the first to say that it's pretty obvious none of this is his fault.  Probably time to sell Pogba and Fernandes and find a player who can play with Fred and McTominay in the midfield.

Again, under no circumstance should anyone see the responsibility here as OGS's.  Retaining him is key to any turnaround.

:oldunsure:

Sarcasm font down?

1998-2015 me would have needed a whole box of kleenex if he'd seen this half of football.  Seeing Ronaldo gets sent off in the 2nd half might still do the trick.

When he went on to say, "the important thing in a Clasico is to win," my wife, who knows nothing about soccer, said "who is that moron?"
