fwiw... I was referencing ARS's 2nd goal- they scored a goal, and the goal scorer was clearly offsides. VAR caught that, but also caught a clear push in the back on the touch before leading to the PK.

Huge set of results for us today, with beating Cardiff and Boro and Millwall both dropping points, if we can beat already on holiday QPR, then we're all but in the playoffs. We'd likely get murdered once there, but there's no really good team in this division other than Fulham.

If we don't beat QPR though then we probably need to beat Fulham last game and can only pray they've won the title by then. That said, we beat them at Craven Cottage earlier this season so who knows

I don't know why or when I got emotionally invested in Burnley staying up... but all of sudden I am (I guess I've always liked how they try to play the game since they've been up).

I'd normally be watching Chelsea for a CP sighting... but with him getting zero PT lately, I'm watching Burnley instead vs Wolves and hoping for all 3 points. and will be watching the mersey-side derby later to see what their result here does vs Everton's.

couple games of watching more directly... this Weghorst guy for Burnley is awful. definitely not a PL forward.

but Burnley absolutely buzzing... FLYING into every challenge and still committing numbers forward (maybe too much as they head into the 80th minute).

how about this instead to promote more scoring opportunities- stop using VAR to go minutes back into the play and call any stupid little thing to call a goal back. and stop calling offsides because a strand of hair is past a shoelace.

2 minutes of ET. lol. Pickford spent about 5 minutes this half retrieving balls and taking goal kicks. Richarlison another 5 rolling around on the ground. 

and LOL pickford goes to ground on an easy untouched take. holds it for about 15 and punts.

I was hoping to watch a flowing Liverpool game, not a Tyson/Holyfield reunion fight in their 50s just clench and hold.

But the disgusting time wasting makes games like this unwatchable.   I don't know how many more examples we need that allowing the ref to add extra time simply does not work.   Just stop the damn clock and 95% of the dumb time wasting goes away instantly.

IMO... if the ref gives Pickford and/or Richarlison a yellow early on for time-wasting, this gets nipped in the bud. but he let most things go on and on.

goal to liverpool is the best thing that could've happened to this miserable game. everton will have to stop wasting time and open up a bit to try to get that point back, which should let Liverpool get to play more. win/win.

Yeah -- that was nice.  Really do wish they'd taken more out of Richarlson at the end of the game.  Pickford taking out VvD two years ago is just stupid, talentless hacks doing stupid talentless things, but Richarlson knew what he was doing on Thiago that same day.  And he was a ##### in this one too.
