Morris's run before and then on the ball, and vision to put it back to him...also top shelf. That touch to Ruidiaz for the 2nd goal was gorgeous.

He put them in a couple really unnecessarily bad spots...but otherwise, yeah- wow. Kid probably can't even drive himself to games yet.Still amazed that a 16 year old baby played most of that game and did not #### the bed...
Buddy was at the game. Said it was one of the best crowds he has been part of.

Since they got the money I'd estimate they're ~3 CL wins below expectation. It's a reflection on Pep, but also on how they spend the money - only having got one striker right in 15 years and spending nine figures on one player that doesn't improve their starting lineup as Grealish plays in their strongest position is comicalAs good as City has been and as much as they've dominated the EPL the last few years, the fact that they've made only 1 UCL finals during that time (and ever) and lost has to be a reflection on him, right?
I think they'll only be slight favorites in the final. They have more talent and a better manager, but one should never count out Real in CL. They've crushed many dreams before in that tournament. If you'd told me 5 years ago that Liverpool would be deserved favorites in a Champions League final and looking to crush the dreams of the never-say-die, plucky underdogs, Real Madrid, I'm not sure I'd have believed you.
Oddsmakers have it at 64/36 for Liverpool.I think they'll only be slight favorites in the final. They have more talent and a better manager, but one should never count out Real in CL. They've crushed many dreams before in that tournament.
I was thinking 60-40, so that's more than I thought, but I'm no sharp.Oddsmakers have it at 64/36 for Liverpool.

oops goal. chasing a brace now.early red card to Cresswell, and already down a goal in aggregate. still 0-0 at least... but have to chase a goal to get back into this one.
I'm a big Wycombe Wanderers fan for the next four days
Bundie wrapped up today... you'll never guess who took the title!
but in other leagues where titles are up for grabs... Serie A coming down to the wire between the real club from Milan and the poser club from Milan. the posers have lost their lead by a point after today's Inter win over @Kafka Roma.
going to be a fun finish.... @DJackson10
playoffs are basically set, yeah?- SU, LT, NF, HTLuton's opener is a must see bit of clown show goalkeeping
Meanwhile we're destroying Fulham
Bristol Rovers win 7-0 to get promoted back to League One![]()
or is it for a playoff spot? Trying to piece together from Twitters
Yeah. Apparently fans rushed the pitch after the goal and the match was stopped for a bit too. I'll look for a video later, about to head out for Inter Miami at Charlotte.playoff spot I believe as they came in 3rd. They picked up 13 of their last possible 15 points of the season.
edit: whoops, ignore what I said, top 3 get promoted automatically so they are promoted coming in 3rd on goals for (the huge win today got them even on GD)
Tricky Trees vs. the Blades is my dream "teams I've won the Champions League with in FIFA" matchup.Yep, us/Forest and Luton/Huddersfield. Thought we were going to avoid Forest after they got a 92nd minute pen but they bottled it
The mathematical clinching goal came from Newcastle loanee Elliot Anderson. :dynastyinmaking:Bristol Rovers win 7-0 to get promoted back to League One![]()

Actually saw Roger Bennett tweet it outTurned on what I thought was EPL, but is English women...and Sam Kerr with an absolutely stunning class goal for Chelsea to...I think, seal the title.
It was high press, pass back to MU GK who had to play it deeper out. Won by a Chelsea head just inside midfield and hit directly to Kerr who was set up a 10 yards or so outside the box. She received it off her chest with back to goal, turned in the same motion and volleyed it before it hit the ground- perfectly dipping over the scrambling back GK just below the crossbar. It's worth a look if anybody can link it
thank you... the abilities- touch off that chest, agility on the turn, creativity and instinct while trapping and turning to realize the GK has been caught out and to try this, vision to find the goal and GK in the middle of trapping and turning, and then perfect technique on the shot to hit it high and trust the dip- so hard to do any single one of those to make this play work. taking out everything else about the play (GK watching her own clearance wtihout moving back to goal, marking a little lapse- although tbf to MU, late in the game and chasing a goal)...it's an absolutely brilliant goal.
