⚽ Soccer Match-day Thread (3 Viewers)

Our subs (and lack of) today were diabolical. I'm already bought into next week as Everton is going to be a good away day regardless, but seriously considering binning off Spurs last game as a bad job and just staying in the pub for it

Pretty bad time to be a fan of phoenix clubs near me, first Bury lose their playoff final at Wythenshawe Town on penalties to get up to step 4 of non league, then Macclesfield just lost their playoff final at home to Marine 2-1 to remain in the Northern Premier League

Palace v United should be interesting today. Maguire out, possibly Bruno out too. May have a AWB, Casemiro, Evans, Dalot back line.

Watching on my phone at work and from what I can see its horrible. Knock around the back or go long. Nothing in between. Then giveaway a ball and run backwards so far you give them a free shot. A team in shambles for sure.

Your bench looks as bad as some of Newcastle's injury-riddled disasters from this season, too.

Never thought I'd be asking this question this year -- does 7th place get into one of the UEFA tournaments next season?
Champions League - 1-4
Europa 5 and FA Cup Winner
- If City win FA Cup then 6th is in
Conference League 6th place
- If City win FA Cup then 7th is in

Not sure if there are any other places due to League Cup or what....

So to answer your question: sometimes yes, sometimes no

If I'm reading things right, Chelsea would already get the Conference league by virtue of being the highest finish in the league cup not already qualifying for a higher UEFA comp

Nevermind, looks like that was a misread. Complicated.

Sadly they are going to go out and crush Arsenal next weekend ensuring City take their 4th in a row. (City should regardless, unless Spurs show up)

Why put in Amrabat at this point? Give some debuts! Let the kids play.

Has to be RM today, right?

It'll be tough... I'm so used to rooting against both of these teams, not sure who to root for.
