2 round mock draft in the books ! (2 Viewers)

Sinorice Moss to the Niners? Even after taking Vernon Davis in round 1? If not, Cromartie or Marshall would make sense here. They have no depth at CB at all.

Chad Jackson seems to be the right pick to me. Santonio Holmes I think will drop some because of "character ? " issues.
What character issues??? I've read nothing about this. Please support this statement.

I can't see them taking Moss. He's just too small.Ulbrich will return to help Derek Smith inside. But Julian Peterson will be released leaving a gaping hole on the outside.

I think Cromartie would be a good pick here. I'm definately thinking secondary though.

I posted Kiper's latest mock on the blog last night. Someone did it here last time and it got locked for being Insider stuff. It was on tv, so I posted it there, if anyone is interested. Nevermind my silliness and criticisms if you just want to check it out, click on my sig...

He's a Smurf.
22 years old, 3 kids, broken family, off field stuff makes him a slight risk to have focus problems... he should be drafted soon though... He is good.

What % of the NFL falls under these three categories - young, with kids, from a broken home?

Great stuff, man. I dig the silliness and criticisms. Fun read.

I think after the 9ers see this thread, they go with Hawk or Ngata in the first since they now know they can grab Mercedes in the 2nd.

No, he's from a solid home, but he is juggling two moms and three kids. He has his own broken home, that he created. He is a bit of a player. Just a caveat. I like him.

Even higher % then.Too bad these guys can't take some human growth hormone or something. He and Darryl Tapp would be fantastic if they were two inches taller.

2.06 SF 49ers - Antonio Cromartie, FSU - Freakishly athletic 6-3 DB, who is sort of raw and inexperienced, but he has the tools to be a great player. Nolan will get him the coaching he needs. He'll start in the nickel, be a playmaker from the start, and a solid starter down the road.

2.07 Oakland Raiders - On the clock, looking for speeed, baby.

LOLBPair someone like Thomas Howard with Danny Clark and Kirk Morrison and watch out.

They also really need a cornerback.

Good catch.  They want to get better on the DL desperately according to some.  Wroten?  Wright?
Wroten before Wright, even with the "issues".Ko Simpson is still on the board.

My thoughts - One of the speed burning safeties. Allen or Bullocks have probably moved way up the draft boards and Davis likes speed. Simpson and Bing are SSes.

I think FS is a huge issue, btw. Schweigert tried, but he is a SS.
Simpson can play FS... I think that's a good pick.
Bing has played more FS than Simpson. His bio is wrong. He's played Rover in the box piling up tackles. I like him as a pure SS-- Bob Sanders style. I'll go with it, but I like the speed in Oakland.

2.07 Oakland Raiders - Jason Allen, DB, Tennessee - Future star in this league, imo. He seems fully recovered from a terrible hip injury. He once graded as a peer to Huff and JWilliams. He is as fast as either. Perfect FS ends Oakland's five year hunt to fill the position-- since Dorsett was a bust.

2.08 Buffalo - OTC (Took Ngata in rd 1)

Not sure if you guys knew but the 2nd round order is all wrong with the first 7 or so picks. The Titans actually have like the 7th overall pick in the 2nd. This was because of all the teams that ended up with the same overall record. The order is reversed for those teams in each subsequent round...something like that
