You got it right, Carolina can go to Chicago kick their ### then come to Seattle and get there ### kicked, just like last year!fixedSeriously? Philly can't beat the Giants or New Orleans on the road, Seattle & St. Louis just aren't that good and especially on the road, New Orleans is surprising but have not won a big road game yet, and Dallas probably won't even make the playoffs. That leaves......Carolina.Teams that would win in Chicago come playoff time:
Philly
Dallas
NYG
Carolina
New Orleans
Seattle
St Louis
I'll agree with this. I still don't get all of the man love for the Giants. People have been saying the Bears will lose to them for weeks. I don't see it.If not New England, they'll lose to the Rams. They'll OWN the Giants, who suck.
I dunno but that T-Shirt it's just pure arrogance. Plus Chicago is one of those superstitious sports towns. If I was a Bears fan I dont think I would jinx it by buying that shirt. I kind of view it like talking to a pitcher who has a no-no going into the 8th innning. Or the Goat Curse..... Bad Joo Joo in my books.Good deal. Only $20? Thanks for the link...http://www.sixteenstraight.com/I can't understand all the Bears hate. Why hate the Bears and Bears fans? But I still don't have an answer to why all the hate. I really wonder where all the haters are from. My guess... east coast.

Yeah, kinda like making a video called Super Bowl Shuffle in the middle of a season. Oh, wait a minute...I dunno but that T-Shirt it's just pure arrogance. I think we made our point....or the Superbowl Shuffle.
You misunderstood the point. You talked about jinxes. The Superbowl Shuffle didn't jinx us. At least the '85 Bears backed it up. Don't think that other cities who are on a roll and who are having a good season don't do something that could be considered arrogant. Didn't the Bengals come out with a (bad) rap song last year? Who Dey? They didn't even back it up. A tshirt by some fans, cannot be compared to what the TEAM does. The Bears this year are very confident but pretty down to earth. Lovie won't let them. Yes the '85 Bears were arrogant but backed it up.boubucarow said:boubucarow said:Arrogance in football is Chicago.jbird5150 said:Yeah, kinda like making a video called Super Bowl Shuffle in the middle of a season. Is it an east coast bias against the midwest? Or the hope that noone but their team goes undefeated? This typifies how this board works. When your team is on top, everybody wants to talk bad about your team. Now that the Colts are clearly the best team in football, they are being insulted here just like the Pats were for the past four years.CONGRATULATIONS Colts on being totally dominant this year.Kilgore Trout @ Nov 29 2005, 02:11 AM)
The Colts are the worst 11-0 team ever.
Dose of reality?? Hmmm. The Bears are 6-0 and will finish with a minimum 12 wins. That can't be the dose of reality of which you speak. The only logical conclusion I can come to as what the "dose of reality" is that people should ignore anything you have to say as your obviously clueless. I personally love all your little pissy posts, just makes you look more clueless as the weeks go by. Keep 'em coming as I will enjoy laughing at you with each Bear victory. Bears fans six laughs at Wilked's expense. Wilked ZERO laughs.lmao, sorry to break up the Bears homers sploogefest with a dose of reality dude...i'm not a moderator or anything, but i'm going to ask will you please stop pissing in this thread? address who you think will beat the bears with a little integrity and stop making jackass comments that don't pertain to the thread's topic.Ohhh really? As evidenced by what? You wanna come hang out with me and the Bears fans that are not too excited to be associatd with me? Ahhh I see the champs of the cake boys better stay at home with Mommie. Typical needless form of being accepted here by the little click. All too familiar and all too silly cake boy....something tells me that the bears homers aren't too excited about being associated with this dude Power Monster![]()

Colts would be very entertaining. If somehow I knew the Bears were in, I think I'd like to see the Steelers play em'. That'd be a real tough hardnosed superbowl. More often than not their pretty runs and passes, it'd be nice for a change to have a slugfest.Colts, in the superbowl.(that would be cool)
which two ???The Bears lose 2 out of their next 5 games.
Great Post. Well thought out and a good readAs was said a few times, both NY teams are better than people think.Mangini is really getting the most out of his players and they believe in him. As we all know, that goes a long way. I wanna see some player moves and drafts and all but they really could be onto something with him as the coach. If you haven't watched the Jets, well just think how everyone expected them to stink and they haven't. I think they'll play the Bears tougher than Chi-town fans think but the Bears will win.Re-GMenThe Giants were supposed to have this ferocious pass rush but started the season "dead". Now they're awake with their 7 sacks last week. Without the sacks, their D was terrible. The whole D scheme is predicated on pressuring the QB.If they can handle the pass rush and score enough, the Bears will win. I think it's that simple with Grossman or any young(little experience) QB. The Bears are one of few teams that can match all the Giants offensive weapons with their D but they'll have their hands full. Urlacher can't sit home and pick his spots to blitz like he did against the Cards, he'll have to be hunting Tiki all day. Tiki's too good to not get that respect from Lovie's D. When the D's rolling, Pierce is stout in the middle for the Giants. They'll matchup well with Jones+Benson. I really think it comes back to Rex and the line handling the pressure. The Bears line is built from the inside out with Kruetz, the Giants D line is just the opposite with Osi and Strahan outside. It's not strength vs strength at all IMO. As I said I think Pierce will handle the run game but I could see the Bears line pushing em' up the gut. However, who is gonna deal with Strahan and Osi when they have to pass? I think it'll be a well fought tug of war battle and am anxious to see it.Re the fins- I think Saban is a good D mind and he'll give Rex some probs but he'll settle down just fine. I expect Joey to throw safe passes all day as Saban inadvertently throws a ton of respect to the Bears D. No way I'd have Joey do anything but play conservative against that D. It'd be asking for trouble. I don't see the Fins game being a difficult one for them at all.If not New England, they'll lose to the Rams. They'll OWN the Giants, who suck.
thank youGreat Post. Well thought out and a good read![]()
There is one common opponent between the two - the Giants got stomped by that opponent and the Bears stomped that opponent. The Giants may very well win the game. Rex Grossman's issues have been on the road, and it'll be a tough game. But the Giants aren't definitely better than most of the teams in their division, let alone the Bears.Put these teams in Soldier Field in January, and the Bears will certainly be favored. Eli seems to unravel quicker than Peyton, and it would be interesting to see how he fared after a few smacks in the face, with a rabid crowd against him.Assuming they can beat the 9ers and Fins (which, after being exposed last Mon, is no sure thing) they will not msake it past the Giants. Giants are definitely a better team than they are. Luckily for the Bears their schedule is padded with awful teams to boost their record
Really? The Raiders have played pretty good on defense all year. The only way they didn't win a game is if the defense gave up before it happened. As for the Cardinals, they were the victims of the most unreal collapse ever. To expect them to show up this week was asking a lot of a team that has shown no reason to believe in them.Bri said:I can't believe the Cards almost beat the Bears but lost to the Raiders

I don't know about Eli. The Boys' Canty and Ware seemed to be haunting him all night, esp Ware. He did OK.How's Osi? I don't think they can beat the Bears without him.Kiwi, will replace Lavar just fine(in spots)There is one common opponent between the two - the Giants got stomped by that opponent and the Bears stomped that opponent. Here's a stat for ya Einstein. To this point, the Bears have the 2nd largest point differential in the history of the NFL. It was the largest before the 49er's scored in the 2nd half. They showed it during the game today.Do Bear fans have any faith in Rex come January? Sorry, but this is not a great team. They overwhelm bad teams, but will lose their first playoff games like seasons past.

Yes, I have faith in Rex. He has had a couple of bad games versus Minnesota and Arizona but he has rebounded to great games following those games. He is very confident and will learn how to not force passes before the playoffs begin.Do Bear fans have any faith in Rex come January? Sorry, but this is not a great team. Exactly what NFC team will come to chicago and beat them? I don't see one team that can do that. There are a couple AFC teams i think could possibly be better than the bears, but that wouldn't be till the super bowl. Why wouldn't we have faith? One bad game, one so so game and 5 pretty damn good ones. Rex is fine.Do Bear fans have any faith in Rex come January? Sorry, but this is not a great team. If you're going to look at it that way, we could say that about every team so far. What more would it take for you to think they're a great team? Going deep in the playoffs? Winning the Super Bowl? As I stated, they have one of the highest point differentials in the NFL history through 7 games and they're undefeated. Regardless of what you think, the facts say they've been a great team so far this year. I guess it depends on how you're defining the word great. This will be relevent in January how? Here's a stat for ya Einstein. I was about 11 years old when that game was played...it was insane. It's sure looking like it. I think 85 had more of a impact though. That Bear team was like 11-0 and they were dominating everyone. This particular Bear team is undefeated .but i dont consider them nearly as dominant as the 85 team. I remember that game though ,Marino ,Mark Clayton and Duper were on fire that night.

That may be because of Miami's defense but Chicago is not helping themselves today.Tell you what though... it isn't so much that the Bears are sucking as the Dolphins just look great.... they really look like a football team.
The Dolphins"ouch"Did the Bears play today?I'm sure the geriatric pukes from Miami are getting ready to come up to Chicago and 'jinx' the Bears 'perfect season' next Sunday.Bring up Czonka and Buniconti....The latter of whom had one of the most assinine comments on Inside the NFL several years ago. "Everybody can see that Jim Miller was juiced up on something - to go from being a journeyman QB to posting back to back 300 yard games...."Bring it Dull-Phins. Nice investment with Nick Saban too btw.
