is there a secret to open the Audible link? Is the link Vista-friendly?

Good stuff guys, thanks. Cec/Marc, what kind of video did you get? This was the game you have practice video credentials for right?

Flacco got bumped up to the Senior Bowl, we'll let you know how he looks in Mobile, and you can also check out the practices at NFL network.Flynn's shoulder is banged up and he did not play this week.Parker had a decent week - we'll have more on him later.Langford (from Hampton) was out of position at 4-3 end all week and did not stand out, but i think he could make it in one of the aggressive 3-4s.Davis got bumped up to the Senior Bowl, looking forward to see (and hear) him this week.Gore was so-so, didn't move his feet enough when I watched him in 1 on 1s.

Stanford Keglar?
good kid, real good kid, definitely some strong interest from NFL scouts. thing that stood out most was legit NFL size.
Thanks...much appreciated! Audibles are great stuff!Edit to add: Having watched him for a couple years...Always had questions of his "ballhawking" skills. Seemed too often just a hair late to the play. Often "around" the ball...just not "there" at the point of maximum impact. Don't know if it's recognition or speed related...Perhaps I'm being too critical... Also have essentially no idea of his strength or 40 speed...and how these will translate to Pro scouts. Very much looking forward to specifics here. Any further input will always be appreciated! :)

Hey, Bloom.

You mentioned Langford being in the 4-3 but it sounds like he didn't play in any 3-4 at all. Were the players forced into the one defensive formation or was there a mix of 4-3/3-4 looks but Langford just didn't get a chance in a 3-4?

Bloom may have seen something different, but I know both of us were watching Langford very closely. It seems to me that the players were in whatever defensive scheme that the coach was going to play. 43 was the only formation I ever saw Langford working in, and unfortunately it just doesn't showcase his talents enough.

i dont live in the USA and i dont got ESPN, so does anyone know of a website where i can watch the game?

So does Josh Johnson have a shot at a bench job? just wondering as he has a incredible td:int ratio. Finished his college career with 152 td and only 16 ints.

Johnson is one of the more intriguing players in this game. He was impressive to me last night. First time I've seen him play though, so take it with a grain of salt. As you reference, his statistics are mind boggling. Over his last two years at San Diego, Johnson ran for about 60-70 yards per game (~7 ypc) and scored 13 TDs running. For fantasy purposes, this gets my attention. He also had some nice runs in last night's game. So, he's definitely mobile. His passing stats are even more impressive, granted the competition wasn't the best, but still.. He's completed over 68% of his passes over his career as a 3-year starter with 113 TDs to just 14 INTs. He even caught a TD pass as a junior. Watching the game yesterday, he piqued my interest before I even realized it was him who I was watching. He appears to have a decent arm and overall seemed to look the part. His size isn't bad either - 6' 3" and 200 lbs.

I'm no Joel Buschbaum, or Bloom for that matter, but I think he has what it takes to make an NFL roster and perhaps emerge some where down the road. Right now, I think he and Dennis Dixon appear to be the best value plays in terms of dynasty leagues and value. Dixon's knee injury will cause his stock to fall and he's someone that really impressed me last year on the field.

I have no idea where the pundits are ranking the QB class right now, but I'm starting to put my own together and - off the cuff -I'm putting Johnson somewhere around 6th to 8th.. in the mix with Flacco, Booty and Ainge and after the top flight guys like Ryan, Woodson and Brohm. Dixon is in that mix, too, along with Chad Henne.

EDIT: to add here's a link to an article on Johnson. Most interesting, beyond the article itself, are the comments below regarding the DI-AA competition, playing for a school that does not offer scholarships, etc. This is definitely a kid I'll be watching when we get into July and August and training camps are underway. I want to see how he adjusts to the NFL level of talent. So far, I don't see any reason why his game won't translate well. On the surface, I really like what I see here. And it sounds like Cecil and Sigmund really like him during the week of practice as well now that I've finally read through this whole thread.
