14 at the momentFletch is an alternate tooLooks like anywhere from 4-8 will be plucked from the bench here and moved into IV
Fletch has the entire order and will post it when the draft starts.According to Bass, Fletch has the 1st pick... anybody have the draft order for the rest of SSL4?
The guys who drafted with me last year know that I PM most of my picks to keep the draft moving. No advanced draft order means I can't PM anyone. I can't sit by the PC on Monday and I'm not interested in slowing down the draft.Remove from this league.BassNBrew said:Fletch has the entire order and will post it when the draft starts.CommuterMan said:According to Bass, Fletch has the 1st pick... anybody have the draft order for the rest of SSL4?

Need one more as a replacement. I don't think anyone pm'd the guys in the league 4 signup thread so that would be a good place to start.
I do not understand why BnB or Fletch could not have posted the draft order prior to Monday? (so jevy could look at the guys drafting around him and decide who to send a list to.) I don't understand the separation of draft start times. Nor the fear that some folks might begin posting some of their picks a little ahead of time.Bostonfred replaces jevy...

It's always been this way since we went to a ladder format. The top dogs are on there own and the later leagues have that info to use for adp. The later the league, the more adp available. From past experience, the drafts start looking more and more alike. We also have a couple of guys who can't start until next week that got moved to this league. If you don't like waiting, do better this year and move to league 1.Seriously, if a guy can't check in on Monday over the course of 8 hours, then it's not going to be much better when we make a quick turn and he's back up. It also wouldn't have been hard to make a list of 16 and pm it to someone in one of the other leagues. The signup schedule and the draft start dates were clearly laid out in advance for everyone to see and give everyone an opportunity not to miss out. Open to suggestions in the future, but want to stick to the original plan for this year. The guys who drafted with me last year know that I PM most of my picks to keep the draft moving. No advanced draft order means I can't PM anyone. These drafts look alike because everybody in here is pretty much a shark and the only way they look different is when somebody is bold enough to go against the grain with their selection, ADP notwithstanding.I am not participating in this league, did well enough last year to move on up. Waited patiently for SSL3 to start until this morning. I think jevy got the shaft because you wouldn't post a draft order early (but Fletch has it). I wasn't suggesting the timer had to start before Monday morning. There are plenty of good folk who are participating this year who will go a full 8 hours in any given day without checking in, yourself included. It's always been this way since we went to a ladder format. Yes, these are mostly always fun. I am relaxed. There was no anger implied (or actual) in either of my last posts. I was just asking simple questions and stating how I see things. I'm positive I'm not the only one who had questions or saw things the way I did. I just happen to be the one who publicly asks the questions. If asking those questions happens to get me blacklisted, so be it.This is fun. Relax a bit... Peace...
Here is what i think happened. BnB has to get the heck outta Dodge for work or family, drops the responsibility on the Number One picker, Fletch. Fletch may not have checked back recently. I hope once fletch arrives, he will get the thread up and off we go. I PMed him, so hopefully the thread will get up soon. Now, I am back to my keeper/dynasty leagues and offering a bag of chips for Marvin HarrisonYes, these are mostly always fun. I will be available as a replacement as needed. PM me ren.renesauz said:Um....from where is SSL3 supposed to grab their replacements?
Orgazmo and Chaos Commish moved up to SSL3. Ya'll might want to hold off starting #4 until you have 16 confirmed. I suspect you're one or two short. With apologies to Ruf,I checked again on my PM to Fletch and it appears he has not been online since April 24th. Duke or Jeff, we may need some help here.
Hopefully you have had a safe and productive few days. Now, I'm looking forward to hearing your reason for withholding the draft order.Clearly, your idea of sending the draft order on May 1-2 to the guy who had not logged on since April 24 seems to have screwed over a bunch of people, including the guy who didn't want to slow down any leagues due to your decision.BTW, did you think before you suggested that I send a list of players to some random guy in another league? Did you really think that was a good idea? Here's a suggestion for next year. Post the order a day or 2 before the draft starts so everyone can get organized and have a plan in place. See SSL4 2007 if you need an example.Seriously, if a guy can't check in on Monday over the course of 8 hours, then it's not going to be much better when we make a quick turn and he's back up. relax a little there fella.Fletch is a seasoned vet who has done these along time, not BnB's fault he decided to go AWOL.Hopefully you have had a safe and productive few days. Not trying to assign blame, but there's a bunch of us that'd like to set this up & get it moving. What contingency plan can we put in place to make that happen?FWIW, I've PM'd BnB, but he's not been around since Friday, either. The alternatre commish for these are Twiligth and Duke1948 usually. With the promotions of Chaos Commish and Orgazmo and jevy being left out do you have 16 players? Are you guys included footballhead and steel dillo who no-showed for SSL3?Not trying to assign blame, but there's a bunch of us that'd like to set this up & get it moving. I'll touch base with Twilight & send out some PMs to see where we stand on 16. Maybe we can get this started. The alternatre commish for these are Twiligth and Duke1948 usually. I'm back in town if needed. I will address the question above regarding draft order. With the staggered start we usually needed to promote when we get a no show. It usually takes a day or two to work thru these and know who will be left in the league that follows. It's a little smoother when we can pull from lower leagues, but the last league becomes in issue when there aren't guys on standby. I don't understand why people signup and then no-show, however it happens time and time again.Hopefully you have had a safe and productive few days.
