2009 Draft Steals (1 Viewer)

I had a VERY successful 10 man draft

1- Addai

2- Reggie Wayne

3- Steve Smith

4- Michael Turner

5- Edge

6- Calvin Johnson

7- Cotchery

8- Mcnabb

9- Deangelo Williams

10-Chris Johnson

11- Roddy White

Now thanks to FBG I had ENORMOUS value from start to finish. Thanks to guys in my league undervaluing players I was able to put this together. Who will be out there next year?

2009 Draft Value

Addai- slow start to season, bad o-line, QB hobbled early. I think he will be a steal in the 2nd round.

Peyton- May fall farther than normal. This year he went in the 2nd round. Maybe he falls to the end or top 3rd round???

Ryan Grant- looked bad to start the season but has turned around, he may continue his streak and go under the radar on draft day

TO- depending on offseason/injury the rest of the year, he could be a huge steal next year. Kind of like Moss last year.

MJD- still does not get much attention but Fragile Fred may be gone/limited next year making MJD a big value.

Who else would you say?

QB - Ben Roethlisberger: He was a consensus top 8 QB. Despite the pass blocking or bum shoulder or whatever it is, he hadn't lived up to that ranking.

WR - Braylon Edwards: Once he works all off-season with Brady Quinn, I expect him to become a fantasy star again.

WR - Marques Colston: Number #1 in a ridiculous pass-happy offense.

TE - Kellen Winslow: see above.

Just a few among many others IMO.

It's way too early to have this thread. I'd agree on Manning and MJD, except that MJD may wind up being hyped as a top-5 back if Taylor decides to retire. (By the way: It's stupid to call him Fragile Fred. At an age when most RBs are out of the league already, in the past three years he's missed just one game due to injury).TO is done as a top fantasy performer. Randy Moss was 30 years old last year. TO turns 35 in a couple of weeks. Think 2008 Marvin Harrison, not 2007 Randy Moss.

If Favre stays, T.Jones... as always.

Lance Moore is very much under the radar, especially in PPR.

Solid contributors at RB, such as Chester Taylor & Kevin Faulk are perrenial underratees.

I think a lot of owners will overreact to the great success people had this year by waiting QBs like Warner, Rivers, Rogers and Cutler. Plus, barring injuries, there are going to be a lot of quality QBs to choose from. As a result, I think waiting on a QB will be even more in vogue next year. I predict some outstanding value when this causes the the very top QBs to be available later than usual.

Matt Ryan?

Interested to see what his ADP is. I think he has a legitimate shot at top 5-7 next year. If he is to be had at a bargain, next year might be the year to bite.

San Diego kept both the wrong QB and RB. Imagine where they'd be with Brees and Turner.
Hindsight is 20/20, with Brees's shoulder injury it was questionable how he would play once healthy. Turner was way to hyped for them to keep, too many teams bidding out they couldn't afford to keep both Tomlinson and Turner I'm not sure how Tomlinson's contract was structured but you can't cut him outright after the year he had last year.
