Thanks for the info. Exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for.Rolando McLain is probably the best bet to put up big rookie numbers. He's an elite ILB that can play in either scheme.Brandon Spikes could play well as a 3-4 ILB, but may be limited to a 2 down role.Daryl Washington could be DeAndre Levy part II. If his time comes sooner rather than later who knows?Navorro Bowman is being viewed as solely a 4-3 WLB, but I believe he may be a close second in terms on instincts and diagnosing to McLain. He will play in any scheme with the potential to kick inside and be a 3 down backer shortly. Easily my favorite sleeper in the class., but a huge risk for early FF production.McLain is the only sure thing at the LB slot. He is in Patrick Willis's class as a prospect and just needs to find the right situation.Eric Berry will be hard to overlook from the S spot. Could be a top 5 safety right out of the gate. The best safety prospect to come out since Reed/Polamalu.
Daryl WashingtonPat AngererSean LeeMicah JohnsonThey're all long shots to say the least.Kindle and Mays are horribly overrated.Putting together a rough top 10 without much research yet. Here is how I am leaning:1. Rolando McClain, ILB. The clear number one to me.2. Brandon Spikes, ILB.3. Eric Berry, DB4. Taylor Mays, S5. Earl Thomas, S6. Derrick Morgan, DE7. Sergio Kindle, DE/OLB8. Joe Haden, CB (my league uses INTs and PDs in roto style)9. Ricky Sapp, OLB10. Navarro Bowman, OLBWho are the next MLB's after the top two?
I am a USC. Mays will be exposed some in the NFL, coverage-wise. To me, he is a faster Roy Williams/Gibril Wilson, which could actually be fantasy gold. Kindle I have only seen play once, maybe twice, so that was more on rep and my league setup being roto with sacks as a category.treat88 said:Daryl WashingtonPat AngererSean LeeMicah JohnsonThey're all long shots to say the least.Kindle and Mays are horribly overrated.
Seems to project more as an OLB in a 4-3 as a WLB.Not sure is he can play in a 3-4.If he lands in the right spot he could be very productive, seems like a more explosive version of Adibi or Sintim to me.What about a guy like Weatherspoon from Missouri? I watched a couple of his games and that guy was all over the field looking for guys to hit.
He is kind of small and I assume he will end up as nothing more than a backup/special teams player. Not sure he will ever turn into anything more than that. Most likely a 4-5th round pick in draft I would say right now depending on combine. But all in all, I don't see him going anywhere but 4th or later.Just as an OSU homer here, what are people thinking about Kurt Coleman? I have no idea when he is even projected to be drafted, but he was a ball-hawk and heavy hitter for us the past 2-3 years. But I have not heard anything about his NFL projections.
100% agree. However, players as prospects can certainly be speculated on from a talent perspective.I dont want to knock anyone but if we are talking about FF stats in 2010 there is no way to project who will be an elite or even a starter until we see who drafts them?

Of course we are talking based on talent level. A couple years ago we knew Patrick Willis had the tools to be a stud no matter where he was drafted. Many people even thought that San Fransisco wasn't a great landing spot for him.100% agree. However, players as prospects can certainly be speculated on from a talent perspective.I dont want to knock anyone but if we are talking about FF stats in 2010 there is no way to project who will be an elite or even a starter until we see who drafts them?
