2010 Offseason Dynasty Trades (1 Viewer)

^ useless post... What did I get ahead of?... Guess I'm treading on thin ice now ;) Whatever buddy...
:) You made out like a bandit with this deal. That much is obvious to many, so there's no sense in insulting the intelligence of other people, even if you disagree. You seem to be taking this way too seriously so I won't say anymore. Lighten up Francis.
So now you speak for many.. 3 people by my count agree. 3 out of how many have voiced your same sentiment. Don't be obnoxious...
You ripped the guy off. Let it go...

Do you really want a roll call? If so, add my name to the this-trade-is-awful camp. And if you honestly believe some of the justifications you've offered up for why this deal was okay, then I think the other team isn't the only one who doesn't understand fantasy football strategy or player/pick values.

Me too.

I just sent VJax for Bryant, Forsett and a 4th. In our rookie draft we cant pick vets until the 4th so picks in that round can be gold.

I think both sides are gambling here. Im worried that Seattle goes for Lynch or that Bryant doesnt fit in Cincy.

Ive spent 3 years rebuilding this team and I dont ant a bum like Jax killing it. Im pretty sure Bryant outscores him for this year anyways.

Can you name the sort of guys that have gone in 4ths in recent years. That will totally affect this trade which is really bad otherwise.

Whitehurst, B Tate,Doucet, Manningham, Timmons, Meacham and too many IDP to mention

Personally I just dont want stuck with a ban and a holdout potential. Given that I need a RB, Forsett is worth a 1st/2nd right now and Bryant should put up Housh like numbers, I dont see it as that bad.

Just for reference, in a recent start up I did Nicks went exactly one pick before VJax.
FWIW, Nicks went for $12.50 more in an ongoing auction. (I'm Suh)A Boy Named Suh Won Auction won Jackson, Vincent SDC WR for $35.50 Tue Jul 13 9:03:48 p.m. ET 2010Bannana Slugs Won Auction won Nicks, Hakeem NYG WR for $48.00 Mon Jul 12 6:49:06 a.m. ET 2010

Good luck finding anyone who disagrees. Stop trying to justify it, the guy made a horrible deal, you got lucky, he'll learn.

You killed that guy. You got a hundred dollar bill for 10 unscratched one dollar lottery tickets. Let it go.

I own Mendy and M.Bush

I draft Hardesty at 1.9

Dwyer was still there at 2.3

Trade Hardesty and 3.6

for

2.3 (Dwyer) and McFadden

Cool (meaningless) part of the trade is that I took Mendy over McFadden at 1.1 after much deliberation a couple years ago. Now I have them both.

Team A Gives: Golden Tate and Jimmy ClausenTeam B Gives: Santana Moss and Sam Bradford
Wow.
Why confused? If Bradford becomes the next Manning type some think he could be, then it's a great trade. If Tate becomes the receiver some think he will be and Clausen also becomes good, then it's great for both guys.
I think Moss with 5 throwing to him and just not that high on Clausen and Tate, I think team A got the best two players in the deal.

I agree, but it's a fair trade IMO.... just a matter of personal preference.

Been slow lately, here is a couple in the past week (PPR):

Team A Gave: Percy Harvin

Team B Gave: Justin Forsett, Jay Cutler

Team A Gave: Cooley, Keller, 2011 Late 2nd (can start 2 TE)

Team B Gave: 1.9, 2011 Early 3rd

Fair deal to me as Clausen is about worth Santana, although I would take Clausen without thinking twice. With that said, Golden and Bradford are valued roughly the same and I would go Bradford every day.

Team A gets the better end of deal #1In deal #2 I think it would depend on roster size, and current rosters. I can see reasons for liking the trade from both angles

Last month. 12 teamm ppr

Kolb

for

Sanchez and 2011 1st (projected 5-8)

Same league during the draft:

Braylon

for

late pick that ended up Sheffler and 2011 3rd

14 team IDP ppr league with large rosters-

Traded Braylon Edwards and 2011 late 2nd round pick

for 2011 1st round pick - Possible #1 pick, definately top 5- (team won 2 games last year, 4 in 2008 and doesn't look good)

Not sure I should be putting this trade here but it was a curious one and wondered who you guys thought won ?

I just started a $750 dynasty draft here is the deal they made as the draft just started

Team A Gets

Rnd 1, Pick 9

Rnd 3, Pick 9

Rnd 4, Pick 4

Team B Gets

Rnd 1, Pick 4

Rnd 3, Pick 4

Rnd 9, Pick 4

2011 Draft, Rnd 1

He then picked M-Drew at the 4th slot (the last of the big 4 RB's)

Who wins this deal ?

Team A Gives: Golden Tate and Jimmy ClausenTeam B Gives: Santana Moss and Sam Bradford
Wow. :football:
Which side is the "Wow"?
I think team A got the best 2 players in the deal. Maybe didn't deserve the Wow considering some of the deals that get posted here but still.
I'm sure many consider Tate the best player in the deal. Tate went ahead of Bradford in all my rookie drafts.

Interesting.Tate went 22nd over-all in my draft, Clausen went a pick later at 23rd over-all. Bradford went 8th over-all. Draft was the first week of May.I know I passed on Tate and Clausen 3 times.

Wow, really surprised to see Tate fall that far. He went at 7, 9, 9, & 11 in my drafts (late-April to mid-May).

Depends on who is available at 1.09, and how late the 2011 pick will be.

14 team league in its 12th year. No resident Notre Dame fan though, in that we are lacking.
Tate going in the 3rd round of a 14 team league is hard for me to comprehend. Would you mind posting the draft? or a link to it?

You could have gotten more. But maybe you could explain your thoughts on the trade.

I agree and as you know I'm not overly high on Tate.
