I don't think that had anything to do with it - it was all about draft position. I think they understood early on in the decision-making process that the NBA scouts were not going to give them good grades - I think they were really weighing whether they would get better at UK, under Cal, or in the D-League.The Harrison twins like the college experience according to their father. Both seem well grounded intelligent boys and I know they come from a very loving family. I believe that has something to do with them staying. Having said that, I do believe if Andrew had played better this year both would have jump ship.
Rumors around here were that the Harrison family was not pleased at how the twins were used this year - did not showcase their talents enough. I have no doubt that they come from a loving family - but this was never about loving life in college, or in Lexington, or even playing for Cal - it was purely about how do they maximize revenue.
I think they made the right decision - I hope they continue to develop.
