2013/14 UK Basketball (1 Viewer)

The Harrison twins like the college experience according to their father. Both seem well grounded intelligent boys and I know they come from a very loving family. I believe that has something to do with them staying. Having said that, I do believe if Andrew had played better this year both would have jump ship.
I don't think that had anything to do with it - it was all about draft position. I think they understood early on in the decision-making process that the NBA scouts were not going to give them good grades - I think they were really weighing whether they would get better at UK, under Cal, or in the D-League.

Rumors around here were that the Harrison family was not pleased at how the twins were used this year - did not showcase their talents enough. I have no doubt that they come from a loving family - but this was never about loving life in college, or in Lexington, or even playing for Cal - it was purely about how do they maximize revenue.

I think they made the right decision - I hope they continue to develop.

Calipari has already tweeted that he is staying in Lexington with this group.

Lakers' timing could not have been worse, if they really wanted to get Calipari. He has his best team ever, one last chance to chase undefeated, and his son is a senior in high school.

Next year, Calipari may be in play, but I can't see him leaving Lexington this year.

In unrelated news, there were a bunch of cars at his house today, not sure if he is hosting anyone this week, but it was unusual to see all the cars in his driveways.

52 million to keep Calipari from going anywhere else for a long time. I like it. 2014-2015 team is gonna be scary good. Everybody comes back except Randle and Young. Tough losses but more than enough to make up for it. Much more depth this year than last. Cal played 10 different players in the FF games. This year he is at least 12 to 15 deep. Every one on the team will have to fight for playing time except for Poythress and WCS.

Love it. This ought to keep the Cal talk to the NBA down that never got old.
