2013 Off Season Dynasty Trade Thread (for completed trades) (2 Viewers)

PPR

Team A gives: Mark Ingram, Deangelo Williams, and Miles Austin

Team B gives: Chris Ivory, Coby Fleener, and 2014 second round rookie pick (likely 2.08-2.12)

Team B has JStew

Not involved - 12 team PPR 1QB/2RB/3WR/1Flex

Team A: DeSean Jackson, Denard Robinson

Team B: Eddie Lacy, Da'Rick Rogers

Both teams filled needs without giving up an immediate starter. Call me crazy, but I think I'd take the DeSean side and I don't like Robinson. "Gut feeling" Jackson is primed for a huge year but I also like Lacy short term.

12 team PPR dynasty

I gave: Jon Baldwin & 2014 1st (most likely VERY late)

I got: V. Davis

Nothing is ever a sure bet in FF but this team should have a great chance at finishing 1st or 2nd after this trade IMO

Newton, Bradford, Palmer

Martin, Richardson, Morris, Bernard, Lattimore

AJ Green, Julio, Cobb, Tavon Austin, Sanders, Hunter, Hawkins

V. Davis, F. Davis, Eifert

Team 1 gives:

Gio Bernard

Cordarelle Patterson

Team 2 gives:

DeAndre Hopkins

Eddie Lacy
Interesting all rookie trade, assuming it happened after the rookie draft. I like the Gio/Patt side, but can easily see a case for Hopkins/Lacy side, especially if you need immediate points.
I didn't understand it considering the draft just went down. I guess the Lacy drafter hoped Bernard dropped to 2 and he didn't.

The draft went

Bernard

Austin

Lacy

Hopkins

Bell

Patterson

I guess it shows how interchangable the first bunch is, at least in this league.

12 Team PPR

Team A gave up:
Brees, Drew NOS QB
Little, Greg CLE WR
Roberts, Andre ARI WR

Team B gave up:
Stafford, Matthew DET QB
Pead, Isaiah STL RB
Streater, Rod OAK WR
Kelce, Travis KCC TE

10 team, 1/2 ppr for WR/TE only, start QRRWWT + flex, up to 5 year max contracts. We have an auction style bidding on RFAs in the offseason. (each team receives $500 per season for this and regular waivers, $ is tradeable and rolls over year to year)

1st trade happened after Percy was hurt, but before we knew for sure he was getting surgery. 2nd trade happened a little after the Harvin IR news happened.

FJ receives Alfred Morris (3 yrs)
L receives Demarco Murray (3 yr), Percy Harvin (1 yr)

L receives Rod Streater (open contract)
DCD receives Harvin (1 yr) (DCD has the most BB $ and will be able to match Harvin in RFA next year)

FJ receives 2014 3rd rounder, $50 BB cash ($50 about equal to a mid/late 2nd rounder)
N receives Zach Sudfield (open contract) (Gronk owner)

BF receives Jonathan Stewart (open contract)
W receives 2014 2nd rounder, 2014 3rd rounder

12 team ppr start 1/2/2/1 and a flex

Gave

Charles

Seahawks D

Got

David Wilson

Justin Blackmon

4.04 (split draft so some ok players still available - Zudfield, Reed, McDonald)

Thoughts?

Don't like giving up Jamaal Charles to downgrade to a RB/WR combo in a start 2 WR league. Will Blackmon even start after his suspension? If so ahead of who?

I've got a decent but not elite set of WRs and I like Wilson a lot.

Current WRs are now Green, Nelson, Blackmon, Decker, Welker, James Jones, Sanders

I only see it as a 1 year (at most) downgrade at RB.

Several trades before rookie draft this week. 12 team non-ppr standard scoring 1/2/2/1 and flex

Team A receives Gates, B.Brown

Team B receives V.Davis

Team C receives Gates

Team A receives Dalton

Team D receives Foster

Team B receives R.Rice, CJ2K

Team E receives R. Mathews, A. Brown

Team A receives 2013 rookie pick 2.1

10 teams. 2 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK, 2 LB, 2 DB, 1 LB/DB flex. Standard scoring, 4 PaTD, 1/rec first down. 40-player roster, no taxi, no waivers during the year. $400 cap. 4 round rookie draft, rest are acquired by auction. Max. of 10 drops/year unless player leaves NFL or isn't on a team by drop deadline.

Trade 1:

I gave: Stafford ($60) and 2.03 rookie

I got: Foster ($46) and 2.09 rookie

(Also have the option to move back to 2.03 for the 2.09 and my 2014 2nd round)

Trade 2:

I gave: Garcon ($16), $7 cap hit player, 3.03 rookie

I got: 2.08 rookie, 2 extra drops (used to drop Barth Connor and Melvin Ingram, both on PUP).

Inherited this team from another owner. Needed to get rid of a QB for cap purposes (still have Brees, Bradford, Flynn, Ponder, McCoy and Lindley) and my second RB was ... Ryan Williams (trade was prior to learning of back problems, for what it's worth). Also have tons of WR depth: Cobb, Jordy Nelson, James Jones (previous owner was Packer fan, also had Jennings, whom I dropped), Vincent Brown, Britt, Josh Gordon, Alshon Jeffrey, Jacoby Jones and Nick Toon. That made Garcon expendable.

The better question is who you think is good enough to keep him from starting.

Not really sure I understand the 2nd one.

You gave Garcon, a strong WR2 on a good contract, to move up 5 spots in the rookie draft and drop two players?

Clearly a unique league, but that seems like a horrible deal on the face of it, good WR depth or not.

Salary cap makes some strange things happen, but at $16 there should have been a way to keep him.

12 Team PPR. Start 1/2/3/1

Team A gives: Morris, Vereen, Cobb, Hopkins, 2014 1st (prob non-playoff team)

Team B gives: T Richardson, Demaryius Thomaa

12 team ppr.

L Bell for Vereen
Wow. I have Vereen and I'd give him up for Bell in a heartbeat based on his potential to be a bellcow.
It's close but with Bell's foot injury I think I'd roll the dice with Vereen especially in PPR.
I don't think adjusting your player rankings based on a foot sprain is wise. I own Vereen and I'm just not sold on him as a consistent producer yet. I certainly view him as a decent RB3 and a great RB4 but I am not comfortable with him as an RB2.

Love the Morris side of this trade with the high first. That's a nice haul.
I think I'd lean toward the other side, in my mind:

Richardson> Morris + Hopkins

Thomas> Cobb + Vereen

The future 1st certainly helps, but not sure it is quite enough. Certainly reasonable for both sides.

Team A gives:

Darren McFadden

2013 1.04

Team B gives:

Ray Rice

Vernon Davis

Michael Bush

Nick Foles

2013 2.10

Pretty clearly a big win for Team A, IMHO.

I own HNicks and I wanted to get my hands on RR. I own trich, McCoy, LMiller & B.tate so I had no worries shipping Ellington off.

It was vetoed because the trading party had not paid there buy in yet. Commissioner does not like teams trading picks that have not paid yet I guess.

It has been moved down to 12 Teams this year and I am I'm rebuilding mode the trade was vetoed anyways I don't feel to bad.

12 team PPR start qb,2rb,2wrte,3 flex rb,wr,te 1.5 ppr for te

I gave up big ben, jimmy graham

I received 1.1, 1.6, 1.10, 1.14 2013 draft picks. Romo and greg olsen
You got fleeced. Graham in 1.5 is worth more than that. How do you have a 1.14 in a 12 team league?
I have a had time saying that someone got fleeced for getting that much for one player. I can see some team situations where it would make sense, and some others in which I would keep Graham, but fleeced when you got five 1st round picks, an upgradte at QB1, and a reasonable starter to replace Graham is going way too far.

It's incredibly absurd if that trade got vetoed though.
Lucky you, now you can (and should) get more
Hey guys, I know I probably shouldnt ask but im fairly new to dynasty leagues. Everyone said I was getting fleeced, just wondering the owner has offered to throw in Forte in the deal

so I would be receiving Romo, Forte, Olsen, 1.1., 1.6, 1.10

I would be giving Cutler, Graham, J-stew

Roster is

QB Cutler, Big Ben-Start 1

RB D.murray, Matthews, Bernard Pierce, J-stew-Start 2

WR Colston, Roddy, Mike wallace, Broyles, Randle (giants), D. Moore, D-jax, Marvin Jones, Greg Little, and mccluster, TE Graham, F davis-Start 2 with 2 Flex Positions (RB/WR/TE)

It is 2 PPR for TE and 1 PPR for rb/wr

Thoughts?

In a 2PPR for TE, Graham becomes insanely valuable IMO.

I'm of the opinion that when you trade a stud, you should get a stud in return. In a league with those scoring rules, Graham becomes arguably the most valuable player. I don't see what you're getting in return that qualifies as that.

All the rookie picks might seem attractive, but there is no guarantee that they all turn into established fantasy players. I'd reject personally.

I'm not...I think Vereen will rush for 500-600 yards and catch 60 or so passes for another 400-500 yards. I think he will be a consistent producers in PPR.

Trying to open a couple roster spots and won't have room for all the draft picks so:

I gave:

Hillman

Quizz Rodgers

2 2nd Round Rookie Picks

I got:

1st Round Rookie Pick (top 4)
