Pretty happy with our start also. Gronk obvious a top flight TE. Wasn't planning on Cobb, he just fell to 2.6 by dumb luck. Had planned on taking Ball there. Got a 4/6/7/8/8 to find a RB and QB. Cobb/Welker/Harvin seems like a pretty studly WR corps. Feel like Harvin and Cobb are top 12 options with Welker making a push for that range.

Valence

4.5 and 7.10H for 3.5 and 10.5. 2% in your favor

or make that 11.5 a 12.8. 6% in your favor if it flies.

open to other idea also

2.11E on the block if anyone is interested.

If no offers then I am looking at Giovanni or LeVeon

Sorry Bass I think I'm going to keep Ball for that unless you have any other ideas. Seems like fantastic value at 3.05 - Almost a full round after drafts A-C and I really like this start:

1.05D Dez Bryant WR DAL

2.08D Rob Gronkowski TE NE

3.05D Montee Ball RB DEN

no worries.....great start valence.....can't believe the full round drop there

Don't blame you. I've been trying to move up for him since 2.09. All offers Dodds +3% or better and haven't been able to shake a pick loose. In the earlier drafts you could move up and down at will.

Pretty much zero WR value there. People waaay overdrafted the position starting with Garcon at 2.07.

careful- can start 4 WRs, but can only start 2 RBs max. WRs aren't really being overdrafted.

Going out of town this weekend with spotty coverage!

Need to buddy up with someone who will be available (swap contact info, give passwords, ect)

OldMil, Duckboy, Rene, etc - Harvin and Welker will be money this year. Harvin is a freaking steal. Top 10 talent and if you're worried about injury, Baldwin/Kearse are cheap handcuffs. I'll bet anyone cash either harbin or Welker will outproduce Floyd. Not too excited about Patterson with the Minny QBs. Welker was WR13 last year until he got hurt. Good thing about him is that he'll either be producing or on the bench hurt.

Plan here was Harvin all along, hoping OM doesn't snake me...

ETA Thanks to OM for the swap!

good time to remind people that back up QB's are pretty unneccessary in this league.....there are always QB's available to pick up.....use that roster spot on a flyer/gut call you think can help down the road even if you have to sit on it for a while....think Keenan Allen.....we are targeting a few guys with those middle picks and still may try to trade up.....

Any of you guys see anything you want at 4.5, let me know. We would like to move down into the the 5.1 to 6.3 range. Would work it in your favor on the Dodds calculator.

Marshall/Gronk/Harvin to start, looking for either Fitz or Welker coming back, but since those are the top 2 WRs left, not likely. Would have gone Foster if he lasted to 4.03 but I'd rather push RB to at least the 5th at this point. Thoughts on Brees/Rodgers if no WR target left?

Ref hates him, but Martin is a value IMO. You may want to talk with Rene about moving up if he has multiple targets. Rene almost might trade you outright for that pick since he's acquired so much capital via trade.

If you get Welker, our core will be identical except we'll have Cobb instead of Marshall.

If it gets to you first and Welker is still there, I'd be willing to swap out of 4.3 E straight (or small bump to make Dodds work) to get you a better price.

I don't need a better price. If Welker is there, he is yours. I'll be scarce until 6:30 EDT starting around 3pm. I'm going to pm you our password so you can offer the trade and accept it at both drafts.

Hadn't run the Dodds to see if it would work - looks like 4% so no need for adjustment. Didn't want it to get bounced if it came up to like 6 or something.

Was thinking Harvin at 4.01 but he's gone in E. Would LOVE to lateral into D for two picks and grab Harvin and Arian Foster.

Team right now:

(9)S. Jackson (11.03), (5)L. Miller (7.10C), (4)Terrence West (12.03C)
(4)D. Thomas (1.03B), (5)Mike Wallace (4.10B),
(11)J. Witten (7.03B)

2.03H, 4.01E, 5.09E, 7.07E, 8.07D, 9.09E, 13.03B, 13.09E, 14.10B, 17.03B, 18.03B, 18.10B

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Waivers will not run until after week one. MAKE SURE YOU DRAFT A KICKER AND A DEFENSE!

We are 3 picks away in D with both Harvin and Welker on the board. We'll sit tight until you guys come up and see who it makes the most sense to ship our pick off to. If we move up we would be looking at Brees or Rodgers or trying to trade the pick to someone else for a 5th and 6th.

Overall we've been one of the faster drafting boards so it doesn't hurt to sit tight and get this right for all of us involved here.

Hey guys,

I am headed to Europe tomorrow afternoon for a 15 year wedding anniversary/wife beat cancer trip (of course she insists on bringing the kids). The rest of my picks are all in B...if someone wants to drive the car when I am gone, that would be great. After an hour from now, all I will have left is picks 13-18...I'll need a QB, DEF, K, and a couple of RBs and WRs...

If someone can take over, that would be great. If not, I can certainly check in, and maybe ask to have a "buddy" so that if I am on the clock for more than an hour they can just pick for me.

NOTE: If you do want to take over, you can trade at will (though I would hope you wouldn't break up the happy family of Julio, Alshon, Larry and Emmanuel).

Let me know if you can help out...if not, I likely have it covered, but would not be able to swing trades, etc...basically would be loading up pre-draft.

could certainly cover for you: I just started my staycation today. Send your info

Made back to back trades into D. Got Harvin (again) and gonna grab Foster. I'm very much OK with Foster as my RB1 (under-rated), especially at 4th. Gave up my 2.03, but upgraded a 13th to a 6th. Lost a few percentage points on Dodds, but think it was worth it here.

Roster now:

(11) A. Foster (4.03D), (5)L. Miller (7.10C), (9)S. Jackson (11.03), (4)Terrence West (12.03C)

(4) D. Thomas (1.03B), (4)P. Harvin (4.02D),(5)Mike Wallace (4.10B),

(11)J. Witten (7.03B)

5.09E, 6.03D, 7.07E, 8.07D, 9.09E, 13.09E, 14.10B, 17.03B, 18.03B, 18.10B

Starting trio of Thomas/Harvin/Wallace seems sweet for this league. If Foster and Witten can stay healthy, they should at least perform as adequate Rb1 and TE1.

Still have the right picks to grab a decent QB1 and either a strong WR4 or another decent TE. Thoughts?

Ref/BnB, if there is something you like in E better than you like in D, I can switch with you and grab Welker (he's on the board in both).

I realize that but I'm not taking Michael Floyd over Montee Ball in the mid 3rd. or Garcon in the second.

Are you trying to trade back ref/bnb? I'm at 4.08D if you want it.
Going to swap with Duckboy. Better board for you to work with (same board plus DJax and Martin). Do you have anyone in mind your set on?

If you're on the fence, I'll fish for a trade from the masses after Duckboy approves everything.

I see u are here Duckboy. Everything should be good for a swap. Better ammo for me to move down or more selection for valence.

Open to suggestions at 4.3E if I get stuck with it. Everyone we want here can be had a round later. Wish I could trot out two versions of Welker.

Valence

4.3E and 14.11H

4.8D and 12.8D

That's +5% Dodds to you which I think we can justify.

Ended up moving 4.3 for 3.10 in a later draft. That should net us one more shot at Ball or a stud QB. Not sold on the stud QB idea, but really don't know where else to go. This 4.1 to 4.8 range seems like a dead spot to me outside of Welker/Harvin

I can help if needed...
bump for old mil....?not sure if you missed this or not.....maybe you want to upgrade to someone better than me...?...lol....either way, you can pm me all your info and i'll be happy to help.....
