Bruce Dickinson asked me if I would kill baby Russell Westbrook if I could go back in time.
If you want a real answer just PM tjnc007, the rest of us are just a bunch of squares.More like Chokelahoma City, amirite?
I think it's Lacob's sontjnc09 said:I'm not sure who that young guy is that is emphatically clapping but Klay leaves him hanging badly![]()
It's already been decided that he'll be their 3rd or 4th guy off the bench next year. That's why he is throwing the series.Don't rule out Durant joining the Warriors next year. The dubs have shown interest in obtaining him.
They would presumably let Barnes and Festus leave via FA to join Luke in LA.
I actually heard that if Durant joins the Warriors next year he will have an award named after him. 8th man of the year! It's already been decided that he'll be their 3rd or 4th guy off the bench next year. That's why he is throwing the series.

Oops my bad.You forgot about not facing the Clippers.GSW is going to win Monday and take the series just like we all expected. Maybe then we can focus on the important things, like how lucky GSW got not having to face SAS in the playoffs and drawing a perennial choker like LeBron in the Finals.
It's fun seeing guys like Curry, Westbrook, and Love who came close to the 2008 NCAA Title but didn't win it. Only wish one of these teams had room for Derrick Rose or CDR.Bruce Dickinson asked me if I would kill baby Russell Westbrook if I could go back in time.
Really rubbing salt in the womb here. :shakeshead:It's fun seeing guys like Curry, Westbrook, and Love who came close to the 2008 NCAA Title but didn't win it. Only wish one of these teams had room for Derrick Rose or CDR.
Rose basically beat a ucla team with four legit NBA players all by himself. It's fun seeing guys like Curry, Westbrook, and Love who came close to the 2008 NCAA Title but didn't win it. Only wish one of these teams had room for Derrick Rose or CDR.
Oh yeah, we never got down to the bottom of those reports that Darrell Arthur didn't really graduate from high school.Really rubbing salt in the womb here. :shakeshead:
Too many Riverses in that organization to consider them a threat. You forgot about not facing the Clippers.
Pretty much. It's crazy that CDR was a consensus first-team All-American when he wasn't close to the best guard on his own team. Likewise Darren Collison got some AA nods while Westbrook barely made third-team all-Pac10.Rose basically beat a ucla team with four legit NBA players all by himself.
Imagine my embarrassment when I discovered they cut the bottoms out of the peach baskets to speed up play.Oh yeah, Bruce doesn't watch hoops at all. Just found out the ball was round this week.
Don't believe that group is capable of losing.PG - Rubio
SG - Jamal Murray/Buddy Hield
SF - Wiggins
PF - Durant
C - Towns
I think Biyambo would be a great fit and would like him over Ezeli. Biyambo even said a guaranteed starting job isn't necessary for him to go some where. He could play the Ezeli role for a year then move into the starting lineup or probably start half the year when Bogut gets hurt.Ros > Sage imo.
I think GS is going to shell out and keep Ezeli. Bogut's obviously getting up there, and has one year left, it might be best to bite the bullet now before salaries really get out of hand. They've been lucky in that they've been able to lock up Thompson and Green for what's going to seem like a pittance after this off-season.
I would put the chances of Durant to GS at around 2-3%. I think Barnes is probably the odds-on favorite, with Batum being second, then some sort of trade for somebody else, then Durant. I mean it's worth a tire-kick, but even if OKC loses tmrw, that team isn't a dead-end. And Durant, even newer, chippier Durant, seems like a loyal guy.
Back into my hole. Play nice.
Wouldn't they be better with Murray/Hield off the bench, move Wiggins and Durant up and Dieng starting?PG - Rubio

Maybe, but doesn't really matter. That group is so talented it doesn't make a difference how you deploy them.Wouldn't they be better with Murray/Hield off the bench, move Wiggins and Durant up and Dieng starting?
Come on man, be realistic.Maybe add LeBron as a backup PG behind Rubio
Pretty lame Durant needs to ride Towns's coattails to a title.PG - Rubio

They'd pretty much be Team USA and the rest of the NBA would be all of the Asian countries.Maybe, but doesn't really matter. That group is so talented it doesn't make a difference how you deploy them.
Heh. That '82 ECF Game 7 was a nightmare, especially on the heels of the wins in games 5 and 6. Andrew Toney went all Russell Westbrook on Bird and company. The Boston Garden crowd kept waiting for the 4th quarter comeback, but instead the Philly lead grew. It wasn't until there were 2 minutes left when the fans realized they were in denial, that the game was indeed lost. But the Boston fans did send Philly off with a great, "Beat LA! Beat LA!" chant. I wonder if the GSW fans would send off the Thunder in a similar way.Bill?
Outstanding posting. Taking them in chronological order:Heh. That '82 ECF Game 7 was a nightmare, especially on the heels of the wins in games 5 and 6. (Philly should have won Game 7 in '81, too, but I think they scored something like 1 point in the final 5 minutes. Combination of outstanding Celtics D and Philly bad shooting. Bird is on record saying his Celts could easily have been held to just one ('86) title.)
I think that's the most likely outcome tonight. A double-digit win by GS.I am predicting a blowout. No idea who will win (70/30 GS?) but it's going to be by 12+ points.
Looked up some historical trends. If they are a good indication for home teams favored by as much as GS tonight, you should be right.Today's the day Operation Thunderclap comes to fruition. I'll be surprised if OKC covers +7 but crazier things have happened.
Crazy things are not happening today.
stick to your Hildabeast thread.timschochet said:He was certainly on fire.
But neither team played much defense. If Durant just makes a few of those open looks he had all night, OKC wins easily.
While Golden State should be favored at home, they are being out hustled in this series and that included game 6. My impression is that OKC is fighting for and winning the vast majority of loose rebounds, the "50/50 balls" that every coach says is the key to success. If they can do that in Game 7 they have a very decent shot to win no matter how well GS shoots. Durant won't be cold forever.
If one team wants to advance, then they should play well IMOThis game is pivotal.
