when i camped out on the tourmalet, cav was in absolute last place, by a lot.  he was just in front of the official tdf bus, smiling as he rode by.

He's targeting rio and will leave early to periodize for that

Stayed out of this thread thus far to avoid spoilers, had to catch up today on DVR.

Man, it's a damn shame Sagan has no chance at general classification.  I have to think he could be a major boon for the sport on the international level.  Flashy, playful personality, he's got that bravado that people either love or hate (I love).

Hard to believe Cav had never had the yellow jersey after 26 stage wins.  It was pretty cool to see him celebrating with his daughter after stage 1.

It was a shame to see them catch Steuven.  Great attack to leave the breakaway but damn, just not enough.

My guys took 1st, 2nd, 7th, 12th on the stage here but it still feels like a loss of a day because of Porte's flat

I had Porte in my lineup forever, but dumped him for barguil. I think a Frenchman will take mont ventoux

I can't imagine that he stays in until the end with the Olympics, but Kittel probably will which will make for a good green jersey competition since all the stages look either sprint-y or too hilly for Sagan to hold on.

This is crazy, yellow jersey, former tour winner, 3 of the bet TT guys in the world, all in a break of 29 with a big lead.... and the peloton is allowing BMC to lead it (and slow it down) right now.
