Finally get a close game and it's an ugly ending.

Why would you make that 2nd FT???  Miss it and the clock runs out on the rebound.

How dumb are Webber and Miller?

Green gets fouled on that rebound and Webber is wanting a replay, like fouls are reviewable. Then Reggie Miller says that is a good foul because Green only shoots 80 percent from the free fouls and 76 for the season.  :lmao:

Wow you can't ask for a better look with 0.5 seconds left I swear I thought that was going in.  Had it gone and GS won in OT my god that been as bad a loss in the playoffs as you could have got thinking you had it won and he sure as heck had a wide open 3 there.

Don't watch basketball much? At worst there is .3 left on a rebound timeout and then they lose on a miracle 3 instead of OT.

You fire it off the front of the rim and there is no way anyone catches it clean and calls timeout without only 2/10 of a second running off the clock.

Ever see guys try to miss free throws on purpose? It usually doesn't go the way they want. Plus then you run into a Rocket player fouling a Warrior and they can tie it at line trying to keep them from a clean board.

Really though, down 12 in the 4th with Curry being hot, I thought Houston was done.  Great heart by them to come back in this one.  They'll need this effort twice more and some luck if they want to shock the world, but I no longer think it's impossible.

Agree to disagree.  I'd rather take my chances with that than hoping the Warriors miss a 3 following a timeout.

Their arrogance with the 3 was their downfall tonight, just like it was in the 2016 Finals.  It usually works because the team is so stacked that someone makes a shot, but did not tonight.  Their 3 stud shooters went a combined 23 for 63.
What does arrogance with the 3 mean?

Huh, their big 3 went 9 for 23 from 3 point range 39 percent, This team always shoots a lot of 3's. They didn't have it tonight it had nothing to do with their arrogance.

It means they hoist up 3s at times when the shooter isn't even open, when the opportunity is there to get it inside and get an easier 2.  Granted, if I were Steph Curry, I'd shoot them all day, too, but it is that arrogance that occasionally bites them, when the shots aren't falling.

That is what has won them 2 titles and 58+ games a year for the last 4 years and counting. Some games you just don't have it, they aren't fortune tellers. Kerr, "Hey, guys we aren't going to have it tonight from deep, so 2 pointers only" You do what you do best and live with the results, you are never going to win them all and why would you want to get beat by outthinking yourself.

I'm cheering for Chinanu Onuaku
From the couple dozen games I saw in Staples this season my favorite group of road fans were Rocket fans. Specifically Zhou Qi fans. Not worth the tl;dr to explain but there were hundreds, they were hilarious, they all wore various gear representing him. Just an unexpected great crowd. Second favorite were T-Wolves fans. How about that  Frosty?

What are you talking about?  They shot a higher 3P% than Houston on fewer attempts.

I didn't realize it at the time but the Warriors scored twelve points in the fourth quarter. I don't know if that's a record but it's the fewest I can ever remember them scoring in any quarter and much worse than the Rockets were in the first. Holy Jesus that's bad.
can't even use fatigue as an excuse.  Houston only played seven players tonight.
