You don't say..........in other news water is wet.I feel like the winner of game 5 will have an advantage in the series.
Totally slacking in the rebound and assist categories."Lebron has to score 40+ every night for the Cavaliers to win, he can't keep that up!"
narrator: yes he can
I'm not prepared to comment until all the data is in.You don't say..........in other news water is wet.
well, he is really just a scorer. not much of an all around contributor. they don't win games without guys like George Hill on the floorTotally slacking in the rebound and assist categories.
I don't know what to believeNOTE: I did not actually think this. And here I thought this series was over after game 2.
Could have been a better football player though.I don't know guys. I thought Lebron was pretty good myself.
Can you imagine him in goal?Could have been a better football player though.
Yeah he once hit 3 homers in a single matchCan you imagine him in goal?
Still holding onto this general philosophy. Cleveland just needs to steal ONE GAME on the road. They proved to me they could do that in Game 2, where they held a huge halftime lead.Boston Playoff Record
8-0 at home and 1-4 on road
I thought the Cavaliers would pierce the veil of the Celtics' home success tonight. Maybe I'm a few games early.
Anywho, can't feel strong about a team that's won 1 road game during the playoffs. Still think Cleveland wins the series.
They were up by 7 at halfThey proved to me they could do that in Game 2, where they held a huge halftime lead.
They had an 11 point lead shortly into the 3rd. I'm more referencing that but probably didn't articulate it correctly. They were up by 7 at half
It never got above 9They had an 11 point lead shortly into the 3rd. I'm more referencing that but probably didn't articulate it correctly.
:goosebumps:pretty surprised 3 blocks in a game is not even Korver's season high.... had 4 somehow in Dec vs Memphis
Stevens really on the hot seat after being unable to respond to Lue's adjustments after Game 2 IMO. You never want to waste talent like they have on the Celts roster with mediocre coaching.no further embarrassment but no run, no scare and, most importantly, no stops. first game in a long time i can find fault w St Stevens. he called nothing which disrupted the Cavs physical eminence at all. i am not sanguine about the future of this series & might skip game 5 entirely
must win series for Stevens, imo or he's probably on his way to the Rhode Island job.Stevens really on the hot seat after being unable to respond to Lue's adjustments after Game 2 IMO. You never want to waste talent like they have on the Celts roster with mediocre coaching.
When you mine the Lakers for talent.Who would have thought LeBron's best alternative weapon at this point in the season would be Kyle Korver? The guy can shoot lights out, but for all those moves CLE made they've got nothing better than Korver running his ### off to get space to put up 10-15 points a game? Love gets going every third game but he's so worn down for a guy who is only 29 years old.
Hard to believe that with all those moves CLE is so limited offensively.
He did manage to hold Lebron to a single doubleStevens really on the hot seat after being unable to respond to Lue's adjustments after Game 2 IMO. You never want to waste talent like they have on the Celts roster with mediocre coaching.
One cannot stop Lue, one can only hope to........................I know Stevens doesnt like to double but, with no fear of traps and no helping if Cavs got their switch, they were free to Lue with impunityStevens really on the hot seat after being unable to respond to Lue's adjustments after Game 2 IMO. Yup, the Cavs put up a lot of points, but there were way too many missed opportunities on offense by Boston. I was getting livid at times watching them miss easy buckets. If they didn't shoot well from 3, that would have been another blowout. 3 point shooting is the only thing that kept it respectable. Here's why I'm frustrated...and optimistic about going back to Boston

Celts could have won last nite. Blown opportunity
Throw out that first quarter and they win. Now you can't do that of course, but they won the last 3 quarters, not just on paper but overall play
Cavs also had 19 turnovers to Boston's 10 despite the teams being basically equal in both turnovers and opponent's turnovers in the regular season. Here's why I'm frustrated...and optimistic about going back to Boston

URI job is already filled, that is RIC (Rhode Island College) which is DII. A big fall for him but probably the right move.must win series for Stevens, imo or he's probably on his way to the Rhode Island job.
phew, i jokingly googled something like "open college basketball coaching jobs" and the Indeed site appeared with this job as like #4 or #5 on the listURI job is already filled, that is RIC (Rhode Island College) which is DII. A big fall for him but probably the right move.
KAT sick of playing 67 minutes a nightWHAT!!?? Why would the Wolves ever consider this? I don't recall hearing anything about KAT being unhappy. Did I miss something? @Frostillicus @Notorious T.R.E.
No.WHAT!!?? Why would the Wolves ever consider this? I don't recall hearing anything about KAT being unhappy. Did I miss something? @Frostillicus @Notorious T.R.E.
I assume if there was friction Thibs would be the first to go no doubt.No.
Zach Lowe said today on Simmons podcast that he offhandedly mentioned that there are some issues in Minnesota with Thibs and others, and that somehow it's been turned into a big story. He also said no way the Wolves trade him.
It was also on locate talk radio over the weekend. Whatever psuedo insider rube it was was adamant that the Wolves were not trading KAT, but moving Wiggins if they could find a taker was far more possible.WHAT!!?? We could only hope.I assume if there was friction Thibs would be the first to go no doubt.
For most other teams, the coach is the first thing jettisoned when things aren't going as expected, sometimes undeservedly so. "Easier to get rid of the coach than the players" is what people say when that goes down. Somehow the Wolves didn't get that memo. They really need to.It was also on locate talk radio over the weekend.
