The other problem part in allowing the other boards not to get stronger with this philosophy is that free agent Jim's slip through to the competition. It's one thing to have bad luck and not win games. But you can still do your part in allowing the other boards not to get stronger

That's a major bummer. One of the reasons I was looking to exit season long non best ball play.
I've been operating under the assumption of 51. Came into this week sitting on 50 and won exactly two games ... one by 3 points and one by 0.6. <_<
Not sure if you're referring to LS in general or the "new and improved" version, but if it's the latter the LS screen has a link (the word "here" in the splash sentence) that takes you back to the old live scoring UI. Personally I like the new one since your 7 matchups are across the top, and by clicking on each box in turn you can see your and your opponent's lineups head-to-head. Granted it sucks on mobile, but it's pretty useful on a laptop-size screen.
I got extremely lucky. I was 4 and 1 in games decided by 2 points or less. Consistency was the key. 130, 129, 104, 119, 134, 111, 124, 115, 104, 60, 122, 132. 11 of 12 weeks in a 28 point window. Sure wish i hadn't of lost Edelman and David Johnson. Would be in the thick of things with those two.Here's how we shook out in the regular season:

@Duckboy was the highest scoring team in the league to miss the top tier. Apart from Duck we actually got "lucky" (if you can call it that) as we had four teams place a tier higher than their point totals justified.
I'm trying to decide whether I was lucky or unlucky - on the one hand I made the top tier while finishing 26th in PPG (league average was 111.0), on the other I had the most points in the league scored against me from Week 4 on.
I suspect @Aaron Rudnicki is the only FBG'er with a real chance to take home an individual title, but it's a crazy game and you just never know. Let's all play for some redemption the next 4 weeks - only need to make up the equivalent of 11 RS games for a 3rd-place team finish.
