Stinky bait.
Not bait. For the record i live in a neighboring city to milwaukee. Had tickets to todays game. Son got sick so didnt go. Big bucks fan.

There is no other explanation other than he is dumb and i dont think he is dumb. He went for two when down 6 points with 15 seconds left. He went for two when down 5 with almost no time left.

Plenty of people think he was padding his stats.

Okay, but plenty of people are not very bright.

The Hornets showing how to do everything wrong.  I wish they would run Monk and Bridges out a lot more.  Frank Kaminsky, a player they were going to cut, is being given 30 minutes in search of that 8 seed.

Rodman, and it's not close.
i really really really  liked watching rodman play ball just all hustle on a pogostick to get to rebounds and loose balls dirty as hell yes but jeez did he have a motor just fun to watch take that to the bank bromigos

lol was just going to say something similar.  Djax, your obsession with going out of your way to bash any and all things sixers is as bad as modoggs to the Celtics.  At least modoggs is done mostly in jest.  We know you hate the sixers, but this is getting sad.  Joel was not an obvious pick at all and lots blasted them for taking such a risk.  Ben also had a lot of people saying he was overrated and 'why draft a player at #1 who can't even lead his team to the tournament" (the same argument people like yourself have made for fultz).  Hate the hindsight stuff... I'm sure at least 75% of nba gms would have taken fultz top 3... fire them all!!!
Joel without the back issue was an obvious #1 pick. People only blasted it because they already had Noel but we all saw how that turned out. As well as the fact Embiid was hurt. A Healthy Embiid goes #1 to Cleveland.  It was a good pick because the Sixers needed talent any way possible and Joel was a risk worth taking. You don't pass up on talent especially Embiid who was considered the Next Hakeem. As it turns out a lot of Sixers fans were wrong on Embiid being a poor pick. Ben and Brandon Ingram were the two most talented guys in that draft and thats not me saying Ben is overrated and if he were thrown on LAL or Orlando right now his weaknesses would stand out like a sore thumb. However most GM would've taken Ben or Ingram at #1 and 2. I'd fire most GMS and scouts in the NBA today because everyone has gotten lazy with their talent evaluation looking to tank and find an easy fix. Multiple studies I've looked into have come away with the conclusion just simple tanking and acquiring picks is not the big impact some thing unless you are getting an MJ or Lebron and even then you still have to build around them. The conclusion is you need a good foundation AKA GM and scouts. Then you need to make the right signings and trades and getting rid of players as well as draft picks.

Also I've repeated this story numerous times on here about how I was at the Sac/PHI game before the All Star break when Colagelo first got there during the Noel for Teague/Schraoder rumors. The guys behind me one worked for the Sixers talking to a friend said JC was before accepting the Philly job did his research asked NBA players for team USA what it'd take for them to sign in Philly. He concluded he needed to trade for a star player who'd want to sign here long term if he were to attract other talent not just having Joel and then having the chance to draft Ben Simmons unlike what many Sixers fans theorized. Well it looks like that theory so far has come to fruition. None of the big names this past FA signed with Philly and they had to go out and trade for an acquired star talent.

Point is overall the NBA sucks these days at player evaluation and development. I won't be surprised by the 2028 LA if the NBA doesn't get their #### together the USMT isn't on the podium as other countries go past the US in terms of actual development and talent when it comes to basketball.

A lot of hindsight calls in here.  That's weak.  Many many people blasted Philly for taking Embiid, he wasn't an obvious pick at 3.  We've made good picks and bad picks like every other team.

And just so graceful running down the court.

Giannis was clearly playing for stats.
Well, it surely wouldnt make any sense to teach a future playoff opponent - esp one that can be so easily derailed - how you're going to  beat them unless you need the win.

If the formula is make your threes, then yea they tried that. They just missed a lot of them.

my point was that playing without formula. letting Freak play for points & chuck away, was the shark move. if you don't especially need the win - esp after just losing your handyman in Brogdon - anything intentional would be educating a future foe in how you'll be attacking them.

Watching Warriors/Spurs and my ire for Golden State continues to grow.

Durant clearly comes into DeRozan's landing zone and risks injuring him, but whines up until he is taken out of the game objecting the call with the ref..  Then Curry clearly fouls Mills not once but twice on a drive to the basket and then proceeds to stomp around like a child objecting to the call and should have gotten a T (but didn't).

It's not just Draymond now, even the likable players are becoming a-holes. Hope so much that Klay leaves them this offseason.

Your Denver Nuggets are playoff bound after a win over the Celtics where 7 players were in double figures.

ETA: And thanks to the red hot Spurs the Nuggets are now tied for first in the West. Need to stay away from the Spurs

Good win for the Spurs, but Cousins was out and Klay had maybe one of the worst shooting nights of his career and it was still a close game down the stretch.

I think Curry's beef is that he doesn't get the same calls. He'd be scoring 40+ a night of he got any respect from the refs.

On that specific play, his beef was that the ref who made the call a) wasn't in position to make the call, b) waited to blow the whistle.

In general, I agree with what you wrote too.   He doesn't get the same calls as guys like, say, Harden.

agree with that. Embiid wasn't total consensus #1, many were very high on Wiggins. It is weird cause my memory usually sucks,  but for whatever reason that draft really is vivid for me

We could catch the Raptors and get home court.
man, that would be ideal. I would rather see Bucks round 2 then the Raptors. Something tells me Kawhi elevates his game something fierce and will absolutely shut down Ben and be as dominant as ever

If we were the 2 seed, we'd still see the Raptors round 2. We'd just have home court.

He may have thought that, but;

1) It was a foul, so the ref was right.

2) The ref was the Center who has the authority to look through the paint and make calls for which he has a better angle than the Lead official on the baseline.

3) The reason the whistle was late was because he gave the Lead official a chance to make the call first.

It was a textbook job of officiating and if players want to object to officiating mechanics, they should probably learn the principles first.  He should have gotten a technical for his ridiculous behavior after that play, so any whining about not getting star treatment can start there.

No and no.

He doesn't get "respect" because he is undersized.  A lot of times he thinks he gets a bad call or no call when in reality, he just got beat because he is tiny compared to most NBA players.

Harden gets calls because he is stronger and can hold off defenders who are on his hip.  Curry has to try and get separation with quickness, totally different style, so totally different calls.

both curry and harden have become flopmaster general complainatron larooshes sorry but that is just how it is play ball and stop being whiners take that to the bank bromigos

Looks like LeBron is out tonight vs Bucks - pretty sure a Laker loss eliminates them officially - will we see LeBron play anymore this season or is it a complete shutdown from here?

May as well sit him out.

Ingram's trade value this summer has went up in flames so might as well try to improve draft position if they're able to do so.

If we were the 2 seed, we'd still see the Raptors round 2. We'd just have home court.
The 2 seed is pretty much out of reach.  Catching up 5 games in 12 is really really hard.  The more probable thing we can hope for is the Raptors to catch the Bucks for 1st place.

Agree he should have gotten a T, and that it was a foul.

Harden gets calls because he falls down

Ingram's trade value has went up in flames?   Dude was balling after the AD trade rumors and showed massive upside on both ends of the floor.   I agree they might as well sit James--but Ingrams trade value "going up in flames" is a ridiculous statement.

The Lakers will be accepting pennies on the dollar for him if they deal him this summer. I guess pennies would be more than they got for Randle, but it'd be foolish to let it happen again.

There's really not much of a debate here about his trade value this summer.

He won't say it, but I'll bet he regret going to the Lakers.  He fell for the sales pitch of Magic Johnson, who clearly doesn't know what he's doing.  I mean, who gets LeBron James and still can't surround him with enough talent to make the freaking playoffs?

Love to see them mutually part ways somehow. Lebron can’t stay there. How is this going to get any better?

They we're putting up a pretty good effort with no JoJo tonight. 4 guys over 20 points. Hornets are just a desperate team.
